Hello again one and all,

The heatwave continues unabated today, and Royal Ascot reaches day four, with 45 of the tipsters making a selection at this prestigious event. 21 one of them are covering horse in 2 races, with 11 taking on the 3:05pm - Commonwealth Cup, 5 of those 11 all go for the same runner Little Big Bear, who looks to jump off as odds on favourite. 10 more tipsters are in for the 5:00pm - Sandringham Stakes, with 4 of them going Jackie Oh, Incidentally both are ridden by Ryan Moore vieing to be the leading jockey of the festival.

In addition to Ascot, there are 7 other meetings trying to tempt us with our bets - Redcar kickks off the action at 1:20pm, with Market Rasen, Down Royal, Limerick, Goodwood, Newmarket and Musselburgh all adding to the mix.

Tipsters Standings

Despite back-to back losers for Lee Sobot he remains 1 win to the good over the chasing pack. Just three tipsters remain at 40% strike rate for the month, and still just the one tipster Jim Delahunt remains without a single winner from his 22 picks so far this month.

Twice a winner, from 3 career starts, including last time out at the beginning of May, at Newcastle over this distance. Has the incomparable Frankie Dettori on board, and is always a plus point to have in the saddle.

Cheeky Extra Bet

I'm testing out a new tipping service over the next few weeks, which is likey to be the feature of a new blog series. It did cost me £0.99p for the 28 day trial, and if he continues to hit at the rate he was when he was trialling himself for the tipping service (around 50% strike rate) that fee should be easily recovered.

A second win double failed to com to fruition for Renegade Racing yesterday with neither giving any cause for joy, although 1 of the pair was a close second in his race. The other, who ran first, was a poor 6th, so the bet was lost even before that gallant second place finish.

Today, it's back to basics with two singles, Shaquille in the 3:05pm at Ascot, advised at 0.5 points each way, I took that 1 point each way, and San Fermin in the 2:45pm at Market Rasen, which i was able to replicate.
