Biden Vs Trump

As the 2024 US presidential election gears up, it's clear that the race will likely be between Joe Biden and Donald Trump. The interesting thing this time around is that Trump has already been president for four years, so we don't have to guess about what his policies might be or how he'll perform – we can judge him based on his past actions as president.

COVID-19 Response

When Joe Biden became president, COVID-19 was the biggest problem. He made it his main focus to deal with it. He worked on getting more people vaccinated, giving money to help people and businesses, and telling people how to stay safe. Some people didn't like how he handled things, but his efforts helped to slow down how many people were getting sick and to get more people vaccinated.

Donald Trump also had to deal with COVID-19 when he was president. He started a program to make vaccines faster. But I don't think he took the virus seriously enough, and he didn't always agree with the experts on what to do. It seemed like he didn't have a good plan to stop the virus.

Economic Policies

Under Joe Biden's presidency, the U.S. economy experienced job growth like never before and significant federal spending aimed at stimulating economic recovery. However, his administration also faced challenges such as inflation and supply chain disruptions. Some argue that Biden's economic policies, including increased federal spending and taxation, contributed to inflationary pressures and could potentially lead to a recession.

During Donald Trump's presidency, the economy experienced periods of growth, with tax cuts aimed at stimulating economic activity. However, Trump's economic policies were also criticized for exacerbating income inequality and increasing the national debt. His administration's approach to economic issues was characterized by protectionist trade policies and deregulation.

Foreign Policy

Joe Biden's foreign policy agenda focused on restoring America's alliances and multilateral partnerships, particularly in response to challenges such as Russia's invasion of Ukraine and China's growing influence. While his administration faced criticism for the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan, Biden's efforts to rally international support against Russian aggression and strengthen NATO.

Donald Trump's foreign policy approach was marked by a focus on America-first policies and unilateral actions. While his administration brokered historic peace agreements in the Middle East and confronted China on trade issues, Trump's approach to diplomacy was often lacked consistency and disregard for traditional alliances. His administration's withdrawal from international agreements such as the Paris Climate Accord and the Iran Nuclear Deal was really bad!

Social Issues

Joe Biden's presidency has been characterized by efforts to address social issues such as civil rights, immigration reform, and racial justice. His administration pursued executive actions to promote racial equity, boost funding for historically Black colleges, and reform the criminal justice system. While facing challenges in enacting comprehensive legislative reforms, Biden's administration made strides in advancing social justice priorities through executive authority.

Donald Trump's approach to social issues focused on immigration enforcement, law and order policies, and conservative judicial appointments. His administration implemented controversial immigration policies such as family separation and attempted to restrict access to asylum.

The ultimate choice rests in the hands of American voters, who will decide their next president. However, as an outsider, I believe that Joe Biden has helped make America great again on the world stage.
