My Venezuelan friend has told me that probably half of the voters will not exercise their right to vote, he says that these elections are already fixed, a dictator cannot be removed with votes, I think they have already lost hope but I would like to see the opposition win as it happened in Argentina.

I can't wait to get rid of our Canadian Prime Minister Trudaeu and his Liberal party, a rumor is going around about a surprise 'Snap' Election this 2024 so keep a slot open here. Nor the Conservative party is much better than the Liberals, The NDP is socialist all the way, The Green party is far too impractical.

I remember when Trudaeu first got elected everyone expected great things but as it seems he fell short

Well his Father Pierre, not Fidel, made Alberta to subsidize a lions share of the country's Provincial Transfer payments via Alberta's Oil and Gas revenues. Justin turned the Tax knife much more with his Carbon Tax, it's no wonder Alberta talking separation form Canada.

Thanks for the update, I guess a lot is at stake this year. Power, greed and authority will be displayed just as you mention the case of Putin where opponents are either dead or in prison.

Let's keep watching how all this events will turn out to be, but we are not surprised that some of the candidate's attitude might turn negative just for the thirst of power.

Putin's plebiscite in Russia cannot really be included in this list of election. But it is a nice list, thank you.

Exciting times! Here in Mexico it's pretty much guaranteed that the next president will be female, as both candidates are women. (They probably did this on purpose, so that the other party can't have the benefit of the "feminist vote".)
