Have you ever had an idea about something and, in a second, the idea snapped out of your head without having to put it into writing? Hmm! I am sure you can definitely relate to what I am saying. If this has not happened more than a few times to you, it has happened so many times to me.

For somebody like me who can be a little forgetful, I miss out on a lot of thoughts and ideas that come through my mind. So this is why I decided to buy colour notes and a paper board to jot down ideas that I would love to work on later and paste in reminders of important events.

So I just made this in my room to put in my plans, ideas, goals, and reminders for events. I placed it just in front of the table I work on so that I can have it easily in my sight and have it as a constant reminder of what I need to do and for my goals as well.

I got the paper note for $1 and the paper board for $1 as well. I used super glue to stick the papers and the board on the wall, and it stayed pretty fit.

I took this picture at night while my RGB lights were on. Oh yeah, RGB means RED, blue, and GREEN light, if you don't know, by the way. It gave my room a unique kind of view, which I like; I mean the paper board and notes this time around, not the RGB lights.

Right now, I have written a lot more things on the board that I want to keep as reminders. I would be showing some of the notes I wrote down. So let's get closer!

The first three notes on the board are about my relationship with God and putting him first in everything I do. It is a question that I am seeking to answer. It is something more personal. So let's move on to another note.

Let's begin with the green note: I am a student, and I have not been doing all that well in terms of results, so I have been putting in a lot more effort this time around so that I can attain first class this semester. My target for this semester is 5.0, and I know it is something difficult, and if I don't hit it, then I would feel sad about it but instead push harder next session.

The yellow note is to remind me that nothing comes easy, but through hard work and dedication, it always gets easier. I put this in front of me so I can remind myself anytime I am faced with a difficult task or a difficult course I am preparing for. It can only get easier if I put in the work.

For the pink note, that is because I have not been okay financially, and I am getting used to borrowing from my bank app to make some transactions when I don't have enough money to afford it. They are little, but when they compound, it is greater than expected. I placed that there to remind myself to make sure I research and get enough knowledge on how to stay out of debt.

From what is written on the green note, I hold a hangout every Monday at 4 PM GMT, which is 5 PM in my country. I bring in topics that are dicey and may need one to think them through before they make a decision to answer the questions being asked. They are always educational, interesting, and fun. Most of the people who attend the hangout say that they learned something after each hangout. That is how interesting the hangout is.

If you want to attend, I host it on the Hive Learners Discord Server. You can click here to get a direct link to the voice channel.

Now to the yellow note. It is in everyone's interest to build financial security, and it is a question I have been asking myself. My answer to this question is to increase my earning rate, spend less, then save and invest more.

That's all for now. What about you? If you were to have this with you, what would you put on it?

Yea we definitely need those reminders…I usually do everything digitally but physical notes are more effective.
