š£ļø A Wonderful Trip from Pailin To Battambang! šŗ
I want to tell you a little bit about my mom's history, and also about Battambang. Battambang is definitely a must visit cities/towns in Cambodia.
Well in my last post I talked about the snacks I bought in Thailand and other stuff too. Well after going to Pailin I decided to go to Battambang too because I need to buy some stuff. Also the tuk-tuk needs some repairment, and my mom also want to go. So I skip another day of school, well that day Khanna said they don't really study.
I went to Battambang to buy school shirts, and a school skirt. I got some but two of them are kinda small and I feel uncomfortable in them. I also don't like new school uniforms because they are a bit uncomfortable, and there is something in my brain that tell me I need to take care of them. Well I got a normal style one and a one with pockets, and a kinda normal-ish style of skirts.
Anyway in Battambang I feel safe and not scared that I would get lost at all, because well I used to live there. People can tell that I'm not from Battambang but for my mom I don't think people can tell that. My mom has lived there for a really long time, and she is very good at remembering roads and stuff. We rarely get lost in Battambang at all, and we don't even need Google Map since my mom is one.
Anyway the best part is the food, unlike Pailin in Battambang there are vegan restaurant. I always order soups but what I hate the most is that they always put mushrooms in them, and I hate mushrooms. So most of the time I just give them to my mom or my dad, or just tell the waiter/waitress to take the mushrooms away from my soup. Oh if you ever come to visit Cambodia I would recommend Battambang for food, because well they have a lot of weird food like worm desserts (not real worms) that can only be found in Battambang.

You're right, Google Maps is never needed when returning to familiar surroundings. But I love all kinds of soups and mushroom is my favorite, I like to eat mushroom chops sometimes. I will definitely try to visit Battambang if I ever visit Cambodia.
Also sometimes Google Maps are wrong too. You should and the mushrooms there are really cheap, every vegetables in Battambang are cheap. Have a wonderful day.
