Basket of 15 Cryptos as of 06/09/2023

The week the basket lost $100.50 in value with everything down 1-2% and only LINK increasing in value due to partnership news with ARB. The other 14 cryptos have pretty much moved in sync with each other which means no rebalance this week.

The XV token value has taken a hit because the basket is worth less in dollars and HIVE increases by half a cent. This means we get less HIVE for our basket. Off the back of increasing in value for 5 weeks, we're on our 3rd week of decline. HIVE seems to be holding its value very well but i still have faith we'll see it dip toward the end of the year and before the next BTC halving.

You've already guessed it but we lost HIVE value this week, 672 HIVE to put a number on it. Not great but these are things that happen with investments, we can't win every week and it's only important what our basket is worth against HIVE in 87 weeks' time. Up and down we go, we just hope we have more ups than downs.

Round-Up

Would like to do a rebalance to be honest, but the cost vs. the fund value makes it not really worth it. I kinda miss not having the basket sitting on the Binance auto rebalancer that was almost free and zero maintenance. At the moment, all our tokens are core tokens so no wrap versions. Half are more of our tokens are ERC-20 tokens and we have ETH fees to pay which we all know are expensive. Last time it cost $80-90 to rebalance, I think I can't get that down to under $50 but $50 is just under 1% of the total fund value in dollars.

Anyways, not much is happening and for now, the cryptos in our basket are moving in tandem so no action is required just yet.

Its not been a great week but it'll turn around again, it always does.
