Inside SPIs Honey Pot: A Revealing Look at SPinvest's Assets
Hello SPIers, today we break down the SPI token and show you exactly what assets each SPI token is backed with.
SPI tokens launched almost 5 years ago on STEEM HIVE and were maybe the first asset-backed token on hive-engine. We had a humble beginning and started out slow by building a large HIVE POWER position that we used to produce an ROI that in turn we used to make off-platform non-HIVE investments.
We have been through a complete cycle and as we head now into the next bullrun, I thought it would be nice to share with you guys exactly what SPI is holding and what you own as an SPI investor. If you are not invested in SPI and you're just checking out the post, welcome!
I have broken it down to show how much of each holding is held by 100 SPI tokens. I could have done 1 SPI but there would be alot of 0's and 100 is a good number to use because many investors aim to have 100 SPI bag when buying in so it's a somewhat average stack size.

Interesting stuff. You can see that HIVE Power and BTC dominate our holdings. Others like HBD, ETH, FET, DEFI and Gaming follow and the rest are under 2% holdings.
It's funny to see that holding 100 SPIs means you own 320k PEPE tokens, seems like alot. You'd also have a claim to 156.11 HP and 12.09 HBD plus the rest.
While I have the numbers here I decided to break down our wallets by "asset class" into HIVE, HIVE-Engine and Non-HIVE wallets. We went through much of the bear market with no big difference in HIVE vs Non-HIVE wallets but over the past 2-3 pasts, our non-HIVE wallets have been outperforming HIVE and this is why we are pretty much 50% HIVE in total and 50% not HIVE at the minute.
Anyways, here are the percentages to show you where your money with SPI is invested as an "asset class".

Dont really need to write alot more, the numbers speak for themselves and show you where your money is and what you have a claim to. At least now when you see the likes of BTC, ETH, ADA, DOGE, PEPE, FET and of course HIVE pump, you know you have a slice of the action.
