Oh yes, it is stronger to take care of an elderly person than a baby, because the baby grows up and becomes independent at 5 years old, while with the elderly it is the opposite. The patience and care triples with the size.
I have been taking care of my grandmother for 5 years and I never imagined how hard it would be, it takes a lot of my energy but it gives me the opportunity to serve and give back with gratitude what she did for my mom and also for my life, without her I would not be here.

A lot more patience required, a child still able to reason with an adult not comprehending far more difficult. You do well by her and the memories.
