A few months ago I took the pictures that appear in this post and today I decided to give them life through the Architecture+Design community, I was in the city of Maracay in Venezuela doing some errands and as I got off early I started to observe the city with the eye of the content creator, I realized that I was in an area surrounded by beautiful buildings, it was not the first time I passed by there, At one time I had to pass by every day to go to my work, but I remembered that I had not shared in the community what my eyes were seeing, a very original shopping center of which I already made a publication and across the avenue was the government building that I also shared, and after a few months had remained in the memory of my cell phone this last building that I come to describe.

Hace algunos meses tomé las fotografías que aparecen en este post y hoy que decidí darles vida a través de la comunidad de Architecture+Design, ese día estaba en la ciudad de Maracay en Venezuela haciendo unas diligencias y como me desocupe temprano me puse a observar la ciudad con el ojo del creador de contenido, me di cuenta de que estaba en una zona rodeaba de hermosas edificaciones, no era la primera vez que pasaba por allí, en una época me tocaba pasar todos los días para ir a mi trabajo, pero recordé que no había compartido en la comunidad lo que mis ojos estaban viendo, un centro comercial muy original de la que ya realice una publicación y al cruzar la avenida estaba el edificio de la gobernación que también lo compartí, y después de unos meses se había quedado en la memoria de mi celular este último edificio que vengo a describir.

Exhausted from walking and taking pictures I was heading to my bus stop, but it was almost inevitable not to photograph the building of the mayor of Girardot, you can see its beauty and imposing structure, it is conformed by a perfect rectangle or should I say that they are two twin squares joined in the center in natural gray cement connected to a central wing that gives an escape to a very intimate small square that is hidden among the trees, this place brings me special memories because years ago I used to meet here with a boyfriend, it was not many times, but enough to remember those moments every time I see this building.

Agotada de caminar y sacar fotos me dirigía a la mi parada de autobús, pero fue casi inevitable no fotografiar al edificio de la alcaldía de Girardot, desde lejos se puede ver su belleza e imponente estructura, está conformada por un rectángulo perfecto o debería decir que son dos cuadros gemelos unidos en el centro en cemento gris al natural conectado a un ala central que le da una escape a una pequeña plaza muy íntima que queda escondida entre los árboles, este lugar me trae recuerdos especiales porque hace años solía verme aquí con un novio, no fueron muchas veces, pero sí las suficientes para recodar esos momentos cada vez que veo este edificio.

At a glance, you can count 7 floors, to capture all its space I took pictures from far across the avenue, even from the front mall because up close it is impossible to visualize it completely. It has an internal parking lot that is underneath and around it, its columns are singular protruding and playing with the symmetry of the stairs, elevators, and windows. I think it was created so that both light and air flow naturally and its landscaping is also something to highlight, in the front some tall chaguaramos plants look beautiful if you take pictures of the main sculpture that is at the entrance.

A simple vista se pueden contar 7 pisos, para poder captar todo su espacio tome fotos desde lejos al otro lado de la avenida, incluso desde el centro comercial del frente porque de cerca es imposible que se visualice por completo. Tiene un estacionamiento interno que está debajo y también a su alrededor, sus columnas son singulares sobresaliendo y jugando con la simetría de las escaleras, ascensores y ventanas. Creo que fue creado para que tanto la luz como el aire fluyera de forma natural y su paisajismo también es algo para destacar, por el frente hay unas plantas de chaguaramos altísimas que se ven hermosas si se sacan foto a su escultura principal que está en toda la entrada.

I wanted to take many pictures of this sculpture, but the sun was burning my skin and I couldn't find the perfect angle, this sculpture is tall it is about two meters high and I am small so this was my best effort, it is a nice piece of art and I understand why they placed it so high, to prevent vandals from climbing on it and destroying it, even I was provoked to climb on it, heh heh heh heh, I can't figure out what breed of cat it is, the only one I rule out is the lion, but it could be a puma because of its musculature and intense black color. The whole building is beautiful, I like it very much, it looks modern and seems new, but it is more than 30 years old, I wanted to enter, but it has security and they asked the reason for entering, so I preferred to give up that idea.

Quise sacar muchas fotos de esta escultura, pero el sol me estaba quemando mi piel y no encontraba el ángulo perfecto, esta escultura es alta está como a dos metros y yo soy pequeña así que este fue mi mejor esfuerzo, es una linda pieza de arte y entiendo por qué la colocaron tan alta, para evitar que se suban y la destruyan los vándalos, pues hasta mí me provoco subirme en ella, je, je, je no logro descubrir que raza de felino es, el único que descarto es el león, pero puede ser un puma por su musculatura y color negro intenso. Todo el edificio es bonito, me gusta mucho, se ve moderno y parece nuevo, pero tiene más de 30 años, yo quise entrar, pero tiene seguridad y preguntan el motivo para entrar, entonces preferí desistir de esa idea.
