Hivers en LaBitConf | Buenos Aires, Argentina

Con esta publicación de hoy quiero hacer un homenaje a todo el equipo de Hivers que habitan en Argentina que hicieron presencia y apoyaron en el stand de Hive en Labitconf haciendo un trabajo bastante remarcable.

Hello to all of you! With today's post I want to pay tribute to all the Hivers team living in Argentina who were present and supported the Hive booth at Labitconf doing a remarkable job.

Cuando Arlette me llamó para preguntarme si quería formar parte del equipo que viajaría a Argentina a representar a Hive en un stand en un evento gigante como Labitconf, primero, me sorprendí muchísimo, obviamente dije que sí, sin pensarlo. Al colgar el teléfono, lo primero que hice fue gritar de emoción porque conocía el evento y sabía todo lo que representa formar parte de él. Luego, cuando se me bajó un poco la emoción, me puse a la orden para ayudar en lo que fuera y me hice cargo de una de las cosas que más me encanta: conectar con la comunidad.

When Arlette called me to ask me if I wanted to be part of the team that would travel to Argentina to represent Hive in a booth in a giant event like Labitconf. First, I was very surprised, obviously I said yes, without thinking about it. When I hung up the phone, the first thing I did was scream with excitement because I knew the event and I knew all that it represents to be part of it. Then, when my excitement subsided a little, I was ready to help in any way I could, and I took charge of one of the things I love the most: connecting with the community.

Así, sin más, lo primero que hice fue conectarme con una persona adorada por todos, y que sabía que era el enlace para contactar con todos: nuestra querida Numa. Tal como sabía, hizo de enlace para contactar con los miembros de la comunidad, ya que ella es el pegamento que une a muchos. Así que cuando faltaban hivers por contactar, o que alguno contestara alguna información, allí está ella pendiente de avisar, con mucho amor. Por eso, cuando una de las figuras más influyentes del mundo cripto en Latinoamérica, como es Criptolawyer, la entrevistó, me sentí feliz y muy llena porque este es el tipo de trabajo que hay que resaltar en nuestra comunidad. Un honor conocerla, Sra. Numa y darle abrazos apretaditos de esos que te recomponen el alma.

! [English] So, without further ado, the first thing I did was to connect with a person adored by all, and who I knew was the link to contact everyone: our dear Numa. As I knew, she was the link to contact the members of the community, since she is the glue that unites many. So when there were hivers to be contacted, or someone to answer some information, she was there to let them know, with lots of love. So, when one of the most influential figures in the crypto world in Latin America, such as Criptolawyer, interviewed her, I felt happy and very full because this is the kind of work that should be highlighted in our community. Seguimos desvirtualizando a más usuarios, y me encontré con una persona que nos saca carcajadas en Hive: Marluy, nuestra mamá emigrante y una pequeña hechicera: Erika. Un gusto conocerlas chicas, y aunque no pude pasar mucho rato con Marluy, tuve la dicha de conectar y pasar más rato con Erika, quien es una bomba de energía y no paró durante los dos días de evento.

Y nunca está de más reencontrarse con viejos amigos, y no lo digo por la edad, sino porque tenemos tiempo conociéndonos, tanto en la plataforma como en persona, ya que tuve la dicha de conocer a @angelica7 hace muchos años en otro evento en El Tigre y siempre es una dicha volver a verla.

! [English] We continue to devirtualize more users, and I met a person who makes us laugh at Hive: Marluy, our migrant mom and a little sorceress: Erika. Nice to meet you girls, and although I didn't get to spend much time with Marluy, I had the joy of connecting and spending more time with Erika. Erika is an energy bomb and didn't stop during the two days of the event.

And it never hurts to reconnect with old friends, and I'm not saying that because of age, but because we have time knowing each other, both on the platform and in person. As I had the joy of meeting @angelica7 many years ago at another event in El Tigre, and it's always a joy to see her again.

Un Team que compartió stand juntas al mismo tiempo y que eran un manojo de nervios al empezar fue el conformado por Viviana,
elbuhito y por NoemiT, pero que hicieron un trabajo fantástico y bastante resaltante. Las aplaudo, mujeres, porque se lucieron. Un gusto enorme conocerlas.

A Team that shared a booth together at the same time and were a bundle of nerves at the beginning was the one formed by Viviana,
elbuhito and NoemiT, but they did a fantastic and quite outstanding job. I applaud you, women, because you did a great job. It was a great pleasure to meet you.

A alguien a quien tenía mucha ilusión de conocer era a mi querido Julián, porque teníamos historia juntos que involucraban palos, bolas y empujadas... ¡No sean mal pensados! Jugábamos golfito con varios miembros de Geek Zone, así que conocernos y darnos un gran abrazo fue muy genial. Además, Julián nos ayudó con la compra de las entradas para que los miembros del team de Argentina tuvieran sus entradas a mejor precio, ya que desde el exterior salían costosísimas.

También lo fue reencontrame con gente que conocía de hace mucho tiempo, como Andreína, que también es familiar de un miembro muy querido de la comunidad y que, por cierto, se quedó con un mate que me regalaron: guárdame mi mate que lo voy a buscar.

La otra persona con la que me reencontré fue con Dimas, un amigo que junto a @gabiotabalbas, hicieron que recordara mis viejos tiempos en Cumaná. Aunque este usuario aún no ha hecho su introducción a Hive, nos ayudó bastante en la logística del pre evento y ayudando a los que viajamos desde Venezuela con los cambios de cripto a moneda local. Así mismo, aunque no tengo fotos con Gaby en el stand, debo resaltar que nos ayudó a realizar toda la merch que se hizo en Buenos Aires. ¡Gracias, chicos! Dimas, espero tu introducción.

! [English] Someone I was really looking forward to meeting was my dear Julian, because we had history together involving sticks, balls, and pushes.... Don't be wrong! We played golf with several Geek Zone members, so getting to know each other and giving each other a big hug was really cool. Also, Julian helped us with the purchase of the tickets so that the members of the Argentina team could get their tickets at a better price, since they were very expensive from abroad.

It was also great to meet again with people I had known for a long time, such as Andreina, who is also a relative of a very dear member of the community. Andreina, by the way, kept a mate that was given to me as a gift: keep my mate, I'll go get it.

The other person I met again was Dimas, a friend who, together with @gabiotabalbas, made me remember my old times in Cumaná. Although this user has not yet made his introduction to hive, he helped us a lot in the logistics of the pre-event and helping those of us who traveled from Venezuela with the changes from crypto to local currency. Also, although I don't have pictures with Gaby at the booth, I must point out that he helped us to make all the merch that took place in Buenos Aires. Thanks, guys! Debo agregar a un hiver poco activo en la comunidad, pero que fue Speaker en Labitconf, se trata de Alfre Mancera, quien es un arraigado Bitcoiner, que habla de la historia de Bitcoin y como funciona y es muy activo en el mundo cripto y bitcoiner. Además de su remarcable carrera, tiene un blog EN HIVE, porque así como todos los sabemos, Hive es una herramienta más, y si crees en la filosofía de Bitcoin, puedes difundirla a través de la más descentralizada de las cadenas y esa, amigos míos, es Hive.

La otra persona es Viviana, nuevamente, quien me hizo un hermoso regalo de un libro escrito por ella (que aún no he leído, lo siento).

! [English] I must add a hive little active in the community, but who was Speaker at Labitconf. This is Alfre Mancera, who is a rooted Bitcoiner, who talks about the history of Bitcoin and how it works and is very active in the crypto and bitcoiner world. In addition to his remarkable career, he has a blog ON HIVE. Because as we all know, Hive is just another tool, and if you believe in the Bitcoin philosophy, you can spread it through the most decentralized of chains and that, my friends, is Hive.

The other person is Viviana, again, who gave me a beautiful gift of a book written by her (which I haven't read yet, sorry).

Quiero felicitar a toda la comunidad de Hive en Argentina, laburaron un montón (como dicen por allá, jiji). Me sorprendió todo lo que se prepararon para responder preguntas y atender el stand de Hive. Muchos estaban nerviosos cuando empezaron, pero cuando empezaban a hablar no había quien los parara. Debo recalcar que para ser el primer evento de muchos, lo hicieron como si hubieran hecho muchos más.

I want to congratulate the whole Hive community in Argentina, they worked a lot. I was surprised how much they prepared to answer questions and attend the Hive booth. Many were nervous when they started, but when they started talking there was no one to stop them. I must emphasize that for the first event of many, they did it as if they had done many more.

Me faltaron muchas fotos con muchas personas, pero cuando no estaba corriendo de un lado a otro, pasaba por el stand y me quedaba un rato con los chicos que estaban en el stand en ese momento y aprovechaba de hacerme foto. Aunque muchos si se tomaron fotos conmigo y a algunos pude grabar en video y si aún no han aparecido por acá, en algún momento lo harán.

I missed many photos with many people, but when I was not running from one side to another, I passed by the booth and stayed a while with the guys who were in the booth at that time and took the opportunity to take pictures with me. Although many did take pictures with me and I was able to videotape some of them and if they haven't shown up here yet, they will at some point.
