There do not seem to be XV tokens available for sale at 1.000 HIVE anymore, already on the 3rd of May? What gives?

Ah, okay, thank you for letting me know.
Tokens have to be re-listed every thirty days. I've sent the request, they should be there later today - there are a billion of them so I'm sure you will be able to get some.
Edit: Just checked: it looks like they've been re-listed incorrectly, it'll be adjusted later to day. If you list a buy order (perhaps you have), it'll be filled later.
