Sobre el rosa y las sad beige moms

Hubo una época en la que no era cool que a uno le gustara el color rosado, habían otras modas más interesantes, como lucir hipster o emo. Increíblemente, un color puede asociarse a rasgos de personalidad, estilos o intereses musicales.

La temporada y lo que se pone de moda influyen en los gustos de las personas.
Hasta hace no mucho, las tonalidades neutras eran el color aspiracional si de decoración del hogar o ropa hablamos: blancos, negros, beige, grises. En caso de que hubiese un toque de color, era un color "descolorido", prácticamente grisáceo. Esta moda se expandió de tal forma que se convirtió en objeto de burlas. Algunas mamás de instagram o tiktok son llamadas, de forma peyorativa, sad beige moms (tristes mamás beiges), no solo porque sus casas, habitaciones y closets han sido cuidadosamente seleccionados para tener las tonalidades más neutras y claras posibles, sino porque también han involucrado a sus hijos en esta estética, al punto de que los juguetes y ropas de estos no tienen nada de color. Vemos, por ejemplo, un arcoíris pintado en la pared de la habitación de un niño utilizando únicamente blanco, beige, gris y marrón.

Irónicamente, al mismo tiempo fue tendencia el rosa pastel, desde el marketing de la película Barbie hasta la reciente moda Coquette.

Personalmente, me gusta el color rosado y me siento a gusto con lo que representa.
Ayer durante el paseo vi esta gran casa rosa y también algunos cuadros que me encantaría comprar para la decoración de mi oficina. Quise guardar estos colores en mi galería y compartirlos con ustedes, pues, a pesar del auge del rosa, sé que no es un color que se suele ver en las calles con tanta frecuencia.

Not so long ago, neutral shades were the aspirational color when it came to home decor or clothing: whites, blacks, beige, grays. In case there was a touch of color, it was a "faded" color, practically grayish. This fashion spread so much that it became an object of ridicule. Some instagram or tiktok moms are pejoratively called sad beige moms, not only because their homes, rooms and closets have been carefully selected to have the most neutral and light shades possible, but because they have also involved their children in this aesthetic, to the point that their children's toys and clothes have no color at all. We see, for example, a rainbow painted on the wall of a child's room using only white, beige, gray and brown.

Ironically, at the same time pastel pink was trending, from the marketing of the movie Barbie to the recent Coquette craze.

Personally, I like the color pink and feel comfortable with what it represents.
Yesterday during the walk I saw this great pink house and also some paintings that I would love to buy for my office decor. I wanted to keep these colors in my gallery and share them with you, because despite the rise of pink, I know it's not a color that you tend to see on the streets that often.
