It's @skyehi and I'm pretty sure you already know we're going to enjoy some wrestling lists when I share my blogs.
For today's blog we're going to be looking at the entertainment side of the Wrestling world. Let's take a look at the top 10 most hilarious gimmicks in wrestling history.
These are part of what made wrestling a sport more focused on entertainment than just a fight game. From the ridiculously funny to the downright bizarre moments, here are the top 10 hilarious wrestling gimmicks.

The Boogeyman
I quite remember the Boogeyman when I was a teenager watching WWE. Imagine a wrestler who was part horror movie and part comedy show.
He had face painting, worms as his snack, and a giant clock he'd munch on. There where scenes that where funny and scenes that where just disgusting. He could eat worms and till today I'm still wondering whether it was real or fake worms
"Macho Man" Randy Savage
Remember that phrase, Ooh yeah!
"Macho Man" Randy Savage was a real showman indeed. His really flashy outfits and his loud, passionate speeches made him unforgettable. He has made an impact that can never ve erased from the history of wrestling.
"The Hurricane"
How many of you still remember the Hurricane Man. He was the ultimate look of superheroes in the Wrestling ring. He was a masked hero who believed he could save the day. It was pretty hard not to cheer for him but he got his ass kicked a lot.
"The Godfather"
Next we have "The Godfather." his real name is Charles Wright and he played a pimp who led a group of lovely ladies called the 'Ho Train' to the ring. To be honest, I wish I was walking down the ring with those ladies 😂.
Doink the Clown
Who knew a clown could be hilarious and terrifying at the same time? It reminds me of every clown horror movie. They look funny but can be very destructive. "Doink the Clown" matches were pure fun.
"Eugene"
Eugene was a funny and cute wrestling character played by Nick Dinsmore. He was a really lovable character with special needs. his childlike enthusiasm made him a fan favorite for a lot of people. One part I can never forget is when The Rock Dwayne Johnson came to his rescue as he returned from a long break from wrestling.
Brother Love
Yep, we had charismatic preacher who scolded wrestlers on his talk show. That was "Brother Love." He was indeed a master of the microphone.
"Kamala"
Kamala was a character with an African tribal mask and an unforgettable in-ring presence. An amazing and legendary wrestler.
"The Shockmaster"
"The Shockmaster" was to be honest a total accident but one that had us all laughing. He wore a sparkly stormtrooper helmet and famously tripped over a board and that led to some funny moments in wrestling.
The Gobbledy Gooker
Last but certainly not least, we had the "Gobbledy Gooker." You want ridiculous, wait for it guys😂
This was a giant turkey 🦃 that hatched from a big egg, revealing Hector Guerrero in a really goofy turkey suit.
The truth was that people didn't like it at first, but now it's a wrestling funny moment we remember. This was what you would call a close call.
To draw the curtains on today's blog, these wrestling gimmicks aren't just funny moments, they're like I mentioned earlier, a big part of what makes pro wrestling so entertaining today.
