PANAMA - PACIFIC EXPOSITION SAN FRANCISCO....FIVE OUNCE SILVER ROUND!π
Guys I had to do some digging on this Silver round, and this is what I found.....
Congress authorized the San Fransisco Mint in 1915 to issue a series of five commemorative coins, minted Panama-Pacific.
This five Oz. Silver round, is a round replica of the original commemorative coin.......
So sad...at first I thought I had an a 1915 coin...π

This is an auction that I found for this coin today, Silver melt today for this round is $92.75....at the moment, Silver is climbing!!!π€
It's hard to see, but this is marked " 5 T.O. .999 SILVER......
It also has a S/N 01101 ...........
Now for the fun, @stockjockey.....π
155.7g ........
Thats .2g over five ounces of Silver, now we will flip it over for @ronaldoavelino π
So all in all it's a big beautiful Silver round, not a 1915 commemorative coin but a heavy weight round!!
If anyone has any more information on this round let me know, I would be very interested!!π
I hope you enjoyed this post, and I really hope you can view this Steemleo post, with the new community updates.
Maybe let me know what you think....and whether you can still find Silvertop!!! π€
Keep on Stacking!!!

I asked to weight it twice because sometimes @stokjockey gets two different weights...:=)
The five Pan-Pac (silver and gold) are my dream series.

An interesting yet confusing
coinround, has an obverse with an allegory like Britannia yet aneagledisguised as an owl on a US styled 1915-ish round that won't fit out of a Coinstar machine π€Posted via Steemleo
Did I tell you that I found this in a U.S. Coinstar machine @kerrislravenhill....
It was stuck....I had to pull really hard to get it out!π
