I've been using old lengths of 2x4 and other wood scraps to hold down my weed barrier, but those are rather unwieldy and heavy and easy to trip over. I think I should try something else!

The T took heavy gauge fencing and cut chunks about 8-10" long, then we bent a hook on each end and hammered them through the fabric and into the ground like pins. So far so good, but we still put a bunch of rocks on the fabric because we a wind shy lol! I don't want my tender plant babies ripped out of the ground by a thunderstorm wind rush.

And to be honest, I would probably trip over phantom wood pieces, but I totally get it on wanting something else to hold the barrier down lol!

Hope you had a glorious Mother's Day!!!
