An open letter to My daughter 💖

My ever dearest daughter Kendra Celestine,

Another year will be added and you'll turn nine years old in ten days. I felt old already looking at you who grew up to be a very beautiful daughter and now your 130cm tall. I know you're way taller than kids your age and I'm really happy that you grow up full of confidence and really smart. You know how to make friends and can mingle easily with adults too. My colleagues even love it when you'll come with me at work because you are fun to be with. Hearing your classmates calling you bestie made me proud on how you are to your friends. Sometimes, I can't help but to feel that my love may not be enough for you as you grow older because there are thoughts that you might be looking for a fatherly love. I'm sorry my love, if there are times that you might feel that I'm lacking. I hope and I pray that you continue to grow up contented of just having me as your mom and dad. Things might be a little hard for me supporting you financially, emotionally, physically and mentally but know that I am doing my best to give you the best things in life. To guide and to help you fulfill your dreams in life. I wish nothing but to see you happy all the time. Thank you for making mommy proud by doing your best at school and for being a consistent Achiever. You just don't know how you make me happy and proud my love.
