Caution⚠️ : Complete Tasks and earn rewards on Binance

avatar

These rewards for tasks are useless if you are not trading.

image.png

Binance has been teasing people with their new reward system which rewards you to complete some tasks. In fact it started some times back and they do send regular teaser mails to me. I think, its a mass campaign to attract more users on their platform, but the reality is a bit different.

The first task was pretty easy, just click and they will give you a 20 USDT reward. Quite simple, isn't it ? But it's not something that you own. It's just a 20 USDT Trading Fee Rebate Voucher, valid for only 10 days. I have tried similar tasks earlier so I was not surprised. But the second task did fool me. I thought, that would be some real USDT and transferred #hive to my binance account ( transfer to deepcrypto8 with a proper memo key that you would get only from Binance after you try to deposit) to see if that gets me some free money.

image.png

And then that reward was unlocked and I was excited.

image.png

And claim that reward and here is what I got

image.png

Another useless 30 USDT Trading Fee Rebate Voucher. And both of them are valid for only 10 days. I am damn sure I am not using them. Instead I will have to now pay them a fee to transfer back my hive. You can't use these vouchers because they are trading voucher - applicable only if you are trading for another coin. Hopefully you learn from my mistake as said - Wise people learn from other's mistake.

And by the way I usually ignore their mails on these tasks, but today I logged into my account to have a referral code for one of my friend to sign in. He wants to invest INR 200000 in crypto, and wanted me to guide him. I have clearly told him that I am not knowledgeable on market and the only investment I have made is on #hive. But then he doesn't have any one else so he still want me to guide. So with this situation, I told him to invest on 3-4 different crypto coins , HIVE being one of them. So have a portfolio that would probably have ETH, HIVE, MATIC in equal amounts. And then sell off when the bull market comes. Right now he has all his USDT on WazirX and there also his account was locked , which I helped to recover. Now that they are available, I advised him to move it to Binance as he can buy/sell hive there. At least its much better than WazirX.

Do you have any advise on any other coin that is worth invest ? By the way this reward is only for Lite referral, they have two types of referrals : Lite and standard. And don't get fooled again, they do spell it out cleverly: 100 USDT cashback voucher!

image.png

But if you look at the actual promo its clearly told there :

image.png

However, the standard referral is going to get you some money, so you may use that.

image.png

Again up to 40%, but in reality its 20%. However, you can even create your own referral link by setting the commission ratio. I have created one that would benefit both as you see.

image.png

In case you want to use, here is the link : https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=ECG8HW1E

It will get us something at least compared to a direct sign up.

Ya, it is, they are teasing people to spend money on their platform.

Pretty dirty trick but everybody needs a gimmick for good sales...

Those who do not do trading, do holding, they do not have any benefit from this, so it does not make any sense to say that you have got referral bonus. The referral bonus should not be on trading.

Exactly, its like teasing people to trade.

What else? Reward should not be based on trading.

The rewards are similar to kucoin too. You get a voucher for leverage trading, its something i haven't tried in crypto !

Unless someone is very active in trading, its useless.

Yes, I have also completed some tasks and earned some rewards but as I'm not trading at the moment, they are useless to me :D I do remember to earn 5 to 10 liquid usdt. but it was a thing of the past. now they only give trading vouchers.

It's not as easy as it's seems. I havw registered recently and I got nothing because I did not complete any trading or deposit task. I prefer to when I want and not then the exchange wants. Thanks for sharing this post and it can help many people around

Yes the rebate fee it’s a bit of scam in my opinion unless you spot trade with a lot of volume !

Binance scammers! This is ridiculous. I remember that Coinbase had some campain where you could actually earn some coins after watching some tutorials and completing some (easy) tests... It was not much but I think I earned coins worth a few dozens of USD over there. But this Binance fuckery really sounds like a scam...

I often see this kind of mail too. But sometimes I find them very annoying. Because I got 5 usd reward in an exchange site but not usable. There are also various conditions attached so I never participate in them.

then the best option would be to leave that Binance notification checked to avoid those inconveniences

Exactly, but I got caught in this teaser, did not realize it was a trap.

Those vouchers, are they only limited to trading on futures trading or spot trading

I fell for this thing at first too, but when I realized the trick I would wipe reminding notifications in an instant no matter the bonus promises they have.

I don't trust such rewards. They are not what they seem to be. It's also in other exchanges.

Hello dear friend @sanjeevm good day
Too bad you couldn't get the rewards, and I really appreciate you sharing this experience
I am not an investment connoisseur, that's why I do not propose an investment
Have a wonderful day

That's some crazy stuff there.😅 I don't really know binance for making people perform tasks like this. But then thanks for creating the awareness to us.

Thanks for the information friend, it is always good to tell about bad experiences and thus prevent them from continuing to take advantage of more users with, let's say, misleading offers.

:P yup. just hyping for people to trade/risk more than they would normally.. then only a few would actually benefit while the masses lose out.. :(

This kind of thing that happens is just a scam as you have seen it done just to raise the network. Your posting will benefit in a way that everyone else will not. Exchanges owner's, they want futures trading on the platform, they do not benefit from support. And if someone but or sale the coins, then they save the fee.

They are just trying to exploit human psychology, it's a pure marketing gimmick. Unfortunately, naive users will fall prey to it.

An exchange link Binance does not need to engage its traders in this way. They are already big, they should always have an upfront & straightforward approach.

I never waste my time in completing these tasks. I would rather give my time to hive and engage with others here.
