Lets breakdown the concept known as THE SINGULARITY

So few days back, I got to read about a phenomenon known as THE SINGULARITY. This was triggered by friend who I can say basically, his life revolve around physics. He lives and breathe physics. Somehow he made me interested in this concept called THE SINGULARITY and I had no other choice but do some you know, ... personal research. Even though I know the extent of my research is less than enough, at least here I am capable of writing about it and that feels good. Feel like I am 1% smarter or maybe not.

So let me break down the concept behind THE SINGULARITY in the simplest way I can imagine or maybe the simplest way that my small mind has learned to understand its concept

Here we go 👇

Alright, imagine you have a special machine that can shrink things, a shrinker or something (pun intended) . Now, think of shrinking something so tiny that it becomes super, super small – so small that it's almost like nothing at all. That super tiny, almost-nothing point is a bit like what we call a "singularity." You beginning to understand right ? Lets move on

You see, In physics and math, a singularity is a point where things get really, really strange and interesting, how strange? Trust me, I wish I had an idea. THE SINGULARITY is more of a point where the normal rules we know don’t work anymore. Imagine you're playing a video game and suddenly, you find a hidden level where everything works in a totally different way – that's what a singularity is like in physics.

It's like a mystery point where things become super weird and hard to understand. Scientists and mathematicians study these singularities to try and learn more about how our world works, but they're still figuring out a lot about them because they're just so strange and different from everything else we know!

Okay, lets say you have this straw that's super stretchy. You start pulling it, and it keeps getting longer and longer without an end. That's a bit like what happens with a singularity - it's a point where things become really stretchy, but in a different way. It's like a spot where the rules of math and science go a little wild.

Scientists talk about singularities when they're studying really huge things, like the center of a black hole or the very start of the universe during the Big Bang. At these places, things get so strange that our usual ideas about time, space, and how things work don’t quite fit anymore.

It's a bit like finding a secret door in a story that leads to a whole new world of adventure. These singularities are like secret spots in the universe that we're still trying to unlock and understand better. They're puzzling and fascinating places that scientists love to explore to learn more about the amazing universe we live in!

Now, imagine you're trying to draw a map of your town, but suddenly you come across a place where the map doesn't make sense anymore. It's like a hole in the map where you don't know what's there or how it works. That's what scientists feel when they encounter a singularity - it's a spot where the rules of the map (or the rules of how things usually work) stop making sense.

These spots are like riddles waiting to be solved. Scientists use really smart ideas and mathe to try and understand what happens att these strange places. They''re like dettectives trying to solve a mystery, unlocking the secretes of these puzzling point in space and time.

Even though they're tricky, scientists love these challenges because figuring them out helps us understand more about the universe and how everything began. Singularities are like the ultimate brain teasers that keep scientists excited and curious about what's out there beyond what we already know!

Like they say, a genius is basically someone who never gives up on trying to figure things out

If you read this to this point, this phenomenon must have peaked your interest, so what do you think ?
