The Beginning of My HoloZing Journey

@ifarmgirl published a HoloZing article three days ago. It caught my attention. At that time, I was about to read five articles trending on HiveStats. However, as I checked HoloZing's whitepaper, I got stuck. I spent a longer time than I originally intended.

Initial Response After Reading the Whitepaper

As I browsed the whitepaper, these are some of the distinctions that made me curious:

  • The game was inspired by Pokemon and World of Warcraft, two games that I am clueless about.

  • "No team allocation, founders share, or pre-mine."

  • The brainchild of @acidyo, known for OCD and POSH.

  • "The only significant injection for the game’s economy will come from the POSH project . . ."

The above four distinctions are enough for me to give the project careful attention. I like that "no team allocation . . ." This somehow gives an appearance of fair token distribution. Those who want to have a larger share have to pay the initial needed capital.

As for the performance and reputation of OCD and POSH, they appear strong and secure.

Moreover, the team appears solid to me. The game's lore is also interesting:

. . . set in the 2040s, in a world where global gaming networks are common and digitized realities are the norm.

The game "aims to give players a taste of the future . . ."

Another thing I like is its "multi-account and botting policy." Bots are not allowed. Exploitative multi-accounts will either be disabled or banned.

When it comes to Gameplay, I only understand what PvE is after googling it.

Tokenomics

As for the tokenomics part, that's when I am reminded of what I did with the 100 $POSH transferred to me by @poshtoken.wallet in July 2022. I didn't know why I received that amount of $POSH. Since I didn't know anything about the token, my immediate response was to sell it. I was glad to receive 5 $HIVE.

Realizing now the use of $POSH in the HoloZing ecosystem, I decided to buy back. So I transferred 17 $HIVE to leodex.io to buy at least 40 $POSH. Unfortunately, leodex.io had a technical problem. The $HIVE I sent got stuck in the digital limbo.

Looking for a way to buy $POSH, I decided to burn the four gold Splinterlands cards below:

After burning the above cards, I accumulated 8,000 $DEC and sold them for 22 SWAP.HIVE. With that fund, I was able to buy 66 $POSH. So I now have a total of 70 $POSH.

Moreover, before I retired to bed last night, I decided to test the HP delegation to @zingtoken. I asked on Discord if there is a required minimum amount of HP. After receiving a response from @acidyo, I immediately sent 100 HP to @zingtoken.

This morning, the first Hive site I opened was HoloZing. I want to see how much $ZING I receive as a reward. And this is what I saw:

I claimed the rewards a few minutes ago, and this is now the new status of my $ZING staking and HP delegation:

I love how the Reward History looks. It's very neat and clean.

Overall, I love the current sentiment that surrounds this new project on Hive. I will be reading other articles in the Holozing community and the response of the community to keep myself informed about its most recent updates and developments.

As for the roadmap, 2024 is the expected year that this game will be launched.

Grace and peace!

The claimdrop is hourly, so it's better if you claim multiple times per day, to get more staking rewards.
