And two year back My parents were with me at my place so we arrange a surprise party for then on their marriage anniversary and they like the surprice gift....
That's a very difficult question... I got a car when I was 20 ;-)
In terms of material gifts, I remember our first Christmas when my husband bought me a dress form. It was a gift of love, because he had to go into a fabric store and get help from some ladies who helped him find what he knew I wanted.
The best gift I have been given is redemption through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
I thought about mentioning a few material items. But what's even better was the gift of "wisdom" when I heard Max Keiser tell people to get into crypto 6 years ago. He described it as "precious numbers" similar to precious metals. Tokens are finite and harder money than even gold as the nodes reach consensus and often go through halvings or "burns"
I'm staying literal for this one. The best gift I've received recently is a set of 10 x ¥1000 beer coupons from one of the docs I teach. (Total value of around US $107.) Japanese doctors are good sources of booze-related gifts!

Best gift..hmm..My husband, boyfriend at the time, gave me a silver moon necklace with two parts, but he wanted me to keep his part safe so I'm always with the two parts together :)

I think the best gift I was given was a trip to Vegas with my father a few years before he died. I don't have any kids or I am sure they would have won.
