Short and Sweet - Don't stay isolated in your isolation

Hi Folks

We have a lot to be thankful for, especially with modern day technology
I have always been and still am a bushie at heart.

I love the great outdoors, Love living in the bush surrounded by nothing but trees and rivers. Having spent many years living in very isolated places my love for nature is very strong.

I moved to the suburbs in 1998, still small country towns, so still had the love of nature but this time with running hot water. A luxury I afforded myself because I was starting to get a little older and quite enjoyed a hot shower without having to light a fire first.

About 2.5 years ago I moved into a big City, well that was a change, not necessarily one of complete choice, but a choice of necessity.

To make it affordable I had to get myself a Day job, rent is approx 1500 a month and then living costs etc, I have always worked a day job but the jobs have always required me to be onsite.

Now with the current level of technology and the type of job I have I am able to work remotely, and with the current world situation I am fortunate enough to continue to work remotely. Never has it been easier and never has it drilled in that working from home is not only a blessing but can also be a nightmare.

With an online business there really is no excuse or reason why one could not sit down at 9am every morning and then work though to 4pm in the afternoon. Imagine the level of production that you would have for your business if you did this everyday??

If you are undertaking an online business and working from home and do not want it to be a nightmare, I suggest that you really structure yourself. Set up an office space and keep it as such. Schedule your working time and do not get distracted – it can be easy to get distracted when working from home. So much easier to be getting up for that snack and another cuppa or see what that noise is downstairs. Discipline yourself to a structured, organised working process so that you can maximise your business potential and your business output.

Your Input will determine your output

This particular time in world events where quite a lot of people are now inside and only have the Internet to keep them occupied is a great time to consolidate your business practice. Write those Email series, Create those capture pages, take time to visit sites you have not been to before and sites you use regularly. Create those connections and tell us your story. We are all interested.

I am super grateful to be able to just work for myself but it does require discipline and the ability to be a self-starter. I do my best to keep to a schedule and most of the time I do alright. Yesterday I was in the middle of surfing some Traffic Exchanges and the power went down. It was only off for a short time but I was in a state of angst because I couldn't work. It was during the day so still, light out but I get super annoyed when I stuff as that happens. My husband was teasing me about it later. I called the power company to find out what the issue was. Turned out it was due to a car accident. Someone hit a power pole but the power came back on an hour earlier than they estimated. And I was able to get back on my computer and finish my surfing and I was able to be on the Crypto Monday training. :-) I have always been a city girl. And I love my technology.
