White Album is the ninth studio album and only double album by English Rock band the Beatles, released on 22 November 1968 by Apple Records. It was recorded between May 30 and October 14, 1968. It was produced by George Martin. The cover, which has a plain white sleeve, does not contain any graphics or text other than the band's name embossed. The title of the album is also known as The Beatles, but it is also commonly referred to as the White Album. White Album is known for its fragmented style and wide variety of genres, including folk, country rock, British blues, music hall, ska, proto-metal and avant-garde.

The White Album features 30 songs, and The Beatles wrote most of the songs while on retreat with the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in India. The only Western instrument the band could use there was the acoustic guitar, and so many of the songs on the album remained acoustic on The White Album. The album was a huge success both commercially and critically. It is considered by critics to be a postmodern work and also one of the greatest albums of all time. The album was certified 24x platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The Beatles are undoubtedly one of the best bands of all time and many of their albums were huge successes. White Album (The Beatles) wasn't their best-selling album, but I think it was their best album. The Beatles tried a little bit of everything on this album and achieved great success. There are really great songs on the album, if you have time and like music, I recommend you listen to the album. I can say that my favorite song on the album is "While My Guitar Gently Weeps".

It is truly a great work with its music, lyrics and great performance of the band.

By the way, an original copy of the White Album was donated to the British Heart Foundation (BHF). The record, with only 10,000 copies available, is said to have a misprint unique to the first version and is incredibly rare. You can check out the full news here.
