Teddy Swims gained popularity while uploading cover songs to YouTube. First, he posted a cover of Michael Jackson's song "Rock with You", and later he also posted cover songs in different genres. Additionally, his cover of Shania Twain's song "You're Still the One" became one of the most viewed videos with 158 million streams. As a result of his successful work, his fan base grew rapidly and he became one of the most listened to singers worldwide.
