Greatest Hits* is a compilation album by British rock band Queen, released by EMI Records and Elektra on 26 October 1981. There was no universal track listing or cover art for the Greatest Hits album, and each territory's tracks depended on which singles were released there and which were successful. In other words, the album contained tracks that were successful in the territory where they were released.

Greatest Hits was a major commercial success, selling over 25 million copies worldwide and becoming the Queen's best-selling album to date, as well as one of the best-selling albums of all time. It is also currently considered the 38th best-selling album worldwide.The album reached number one on the UK Albums Chart, spending at the top for four weeks and selling consistently well throughout the 1980s, becoming the fourth best-selling album of the decade. Meanwhile, the single "Under Pressure", released the same week as Greatest Hits, also topped the UK Singles Chart.

Additionally, as of November 2023, Greatest Hits has spent 1,076 weeks on the UK Albums Chart and has been certified 23x platinum with sales of over 7 million copies, making it the best-selling album of all time in the UK. Greatest Hits peaked at number 7 on the Billboard 200 in November 2020, marking the second-slowest rise to the top ten on the US album chart in history. Among the longest-charting albums in the US as of November 2023, Greatest Hits spent 569 weeks on the Billboard 200 and was certified 9x platinum in the US. Also, Greatest Hits was certified 15x platinum in Australia, 10x platinum in New Zealand, and 3x platinum in Canada. Additionally, The album re-entered the charts worldwide following the release of the Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody in 2018.

The Greatest Hits album has great songs that could be everyone's favorite, I can say that "Don’t Stop Me Now" and "Bohemian Rhapsody" are the songs I listen to the most.

Queen – Bohemian Rhapsody

In my opinion, Bohemian Rhapsody is one of the best songs ever made and Queen's best song. This song remains one of Queen's most mysterious songs. The six-minute classic was written by Freddie Mercury and broke many rules of convention songwritin rules by omitting a chorus and shifting tones wildly through the course of the tune. It's one of those songs which has such a fantasy feel about it. This six-minute classic consists of several sections without a chorus: an intro, a ballad segment, an operatic passage, a hard rock part, and a reflective coda.

Queen - Don't Stop Me Now

Even though Don't Stop Me Now has been performed many times by different groups, who can replace Freddie Mercury's amazing performance? Of course, nobody. Don't Stop Me Now is one of my favorite songs, it's a really motivating and mood-boost song. I think it's one of those songs to listen to forever, it's a truly great work. Great works never get old.

Frankly, regardless of the language and genre of the song, the important thing for me is that it sounds good. I love Queen's style of music.
