Espero que se encuentren muy bien y que esta semana me los esté tratando lindo. ✨

El pasado domingo, 10 de diciembre fue el cumpleaños de mi gran amiga Karla y me invitó a una pequeña reunión en su casa y la pasé genial, así que quiero contarles un poco al respecto.

Last Sunday, December 10th was my great friend Karla's birthday and she invited me to a small gathering at her house I had a great time, so I want to tell you a little bit about it.

Ya les he hablado un poco sobre mi amiga Karla, a la que acompañé este año a su presentación de tesis y fue increíble, no solo porque fue la primera vez que asisto a algo así, sino que me pareció un hermoso gesto que me haya considerado para asistir. 🥺

I have already told you a little bit about my friend Karla, who I accompanied this year to her thesis presentation and it was amazing, not only because it was the first time I attended something like this, but I thought it was a beautiful gesture that she considered me to go. 🥺

Karla y yo no somos las amigas más cercanas del mundo, es decir, no me malinterpreten, en cuanto a cómo la gente podría percibir una amistad normal, no somos de frecuentar tanto, ni hablar todos los días, pero siempre me toma en cuenta para sus momentos importantes y yo a ella, es algo muy bonito y cuando nos juntamos realmente la paso muy bien y es como si el tiempo no hubiese pasado. Sabemos que contamos la una con la otra. 💗

Karla and I are not the closest friends in the world, I mean, don't get me wrong, as far as how people might perceive a normal friendship, we are not that close, we don't hang out or talk every day, but she always takes me into account for her important moments and I take her into account, it is something very nice and when we get together I have a great time and it is as if time has not passed. We know we count on each other. 💗

No veía a Karla desde junio en su presentación de tesis, pero mi invitación a su cumpleaños no faltó, así que me emocioné mucho porque me contó que harían una parrilla con su familia y sus amigos.

Llegué aproximadamente a las 7 pm y me recibió Karla junto a su novio y dos de sus amigos llamados Pedro y Eduardo, también estaba una vecina muy agradable llamada Yu, junto a su esposo y por supuesto la familia de Karla, su papá y su mamá que estaban encargándose de asar la carne.

I hadn't seen Karla since June for her thesis presentation, but my invitation to her birthday wasn't missed, so I was very excited because she told me they were having a barbecue with her family and friends.

I arrived at about 7 pm and was greeted by Karla with her boyfriend and two of her friends named Pedro and Eduardo, there was also a very nice neighbor named Yu with her husband and of course Karla's family, her dad and mom who were in charge of grilling the meat.

Fue muy gracioso el tema de la parrilla porque ninguno de los presentes además del papá de Karla sabía encenderla, entonces me contaron que estuvieron viendo tutoriales en Tiktok😂 diosmio, amo mi generación.

Así que tuvieron que esperar a que nuestro héroe, el papá de Karla llegase para que pudiera salvarnos, qué puedo decirles, no resolvimos. ):

It was very funny the subject of the grill because none of the people present besides Karla's dad knew how to light it, and then they told me that they were watching tutorials on TikTok😂 my god, I love my generation.

So they had to wait for our hero, Karla's dad to arrive so he could save us, what can I tell you, we didn't solve. ):

Después de un buen rato chismeando y poniéndonos al día, finalmente la carne estuvo lista, también tenía pollo. Una deliciosa parrilla al estilo venezolano, con su respectiva ensalada rallada, casabe y guasacaca, muy rica de verdad. 😋

After quite a while of gossiping and catching up, finally, the meat was finally ready, I had chicken too. A delicious Venezuelan-style grill, with its respective shredded salad, cassava and guasacaca, ñam, delicious. 😋

Seguimos con nuestro chismorreo hasta que llegó la hora adecuada para cantar cumpleaños. Karla sacó sus dos tortas, que estaban muy bonitas, una fue un regalo de la vecina y la otra la hizo su mamá. Estaban deliciosas.

We continued with our gossip until it was time for a birthday song. Karla brought out her two very nice cakes, one was a gift from the neighbor, and the other was made by her mom. They were delicious.
