"..A blockchain is a business" Hm I don't agree. A blockchain is a platform, a business sandbox if you want, but a platform that can be used as a base to build things, be it communities, business, financial tools or entertaining projects.
Corda/R3 has been a great example of how a blockchain can never be a business on its own.
