Powered Up Hive on HPUD

Hello and Namaste Everyone,

It's 1st November and it's HPUD aka Hive power-up day. The first of every month is celebrated as Power-up Day on the hive and this is a special day for all of us. People do power up on this day for the liquid hive and this is how they try to add more value to their wallet. The more staked tokens we have in our wallet are called hive power. Power is a power on this platform because with more power we can support more content creators through the vote. If you do not like to curate the post, then you have the option to delegate.

I follow a mixed approach with my HP and VP. I have delegated some amount to a few projects and I also do manual curation. I support the projects that are doing great on this platform and am happy to help them through my side. Now with the power of day, I have done my part to support the event.

Powered up 105 Hive

I have powered up 105 Hive and it's a quick process. It hardly took 30 seconds to get this done. This is the power of amazing front ends on the hive. I used peakd wallet to perform this action and validated the transaction using a keychain. I use decency mobile but I prefer to work on a laptop. It works great on a laptop and I can do such tasks faster on the laptop. This is a timer in the hivebuzz website and there is enough time for me also follow the IST time zone.

I had 105 liquid Hive tokens in my wallet and I powered up all. This snapshot shows it all and after the continue button, it asks to validate the transaction using the hive keychain.

The transaction is successful and it can be seen in my wallet history which is also visible in the below snapshot. You can see that the power of the transaction is reflected in my wallet's transaction history.

I had less than 23k Hive power but now after the power up I have got 23101 Hive power. I am heading towards my goal of 25k Hive power this year but it looks difficult. I was not active for some time and this is why there is not much movement.

I will try to see how far I can go in the next 2 months with my HP goal. We exactly have 2 months for this year and I am short of 1900 HIVE power. For me adding 950 HP is impossible but I will be trying to see how much can be achieved.

Having a stake is important and it's a way to build on the hive. We need to have a plan and strategy in place to follow. I follow some amazing people on the hive and they inspired me to build. I have been doing the same for a long and will continue to do so.

Just a short introduction to HivePUD... What does it mean at all? #HivePUD is shortened for the Hive Power Up Day. It's an event when Hive members power up their liquid HIVE and stop any active PowerDown! It is held every 1st day of the month.
