Life on the Platform before and after Communities

Hello and Namaste Friends

This Community functionality is such a fantastic addition on this Blockchain platform that has made things so good and people are enjoying being part of one or more community. Today I was thinking about life on this platform when there was no option for the community and everyone was sharing their content as a blog that was getting posted openly. This year 2020 has certainly given this good option to all the users who can use the community option to be part of some great community on the platform as per the interests.

We can't deny the fact that there are so many communities built on the platform but not all the communities are doing well however few of the communities are quite active and adding value on the platform through the good amount of content creation and engagement. Needless to say, that project-hope is one of the leading community on HIVE with Almost 1800 subscribers and soon we are going to be 2k users.

There are so many communities based on the topic and interests like- Art, gaming, technology, photography, food, DIY, Nature, etc and users have got a variety of options to choose from as per their interest, and this way their content can get more attention by the people. The good thing is that now any user who is new on the platform and if he/she joins any community then would not need to struggle more to get the attention on the content. Earlier it was a challenge to bring attention to the post out of lakhs of users but now it can be done within a few thousand users which is not so tough.

I feel like this should have done long back which could have helped us to have many more users to be part of the platform and it even would have helped many people to continue their journey rather than leaving the platform. If I talk about the leading communities or top 20 communities then all these community leaders are trying their best to keep the users active on the platform which is a very good thing. Community support is making a good difference and supporting a big chunk of people to contribute and grow.

In a nutshell, I can say that community feature on hive has certainly added so much of value and its been used by the majority of users to share their content. As a content creator life has become good after the launch of community features. This was one of the awaited features and I was hearing about it through many posts for long. Its like content creators have got their homes.

I am not sure of the next list of the upcoming feature and as far as I get to know through various posts it would be SMT. I am not that much technical to explain SMT and how it will make things better for us but I am looking forward to having it soon on the hive. Since many reputed people are talking about it so it should be good.

If you are part of this platform since last year then you are aware of the scenario when we did not have communities and now we have. What's your thought about it and you think that it helped to bring people together and increase the amount of action on the platform ?
