Inexpensive and Fun change for Better Entertainment

Entertainment is important in our lives because we get bored doing multiple things at home or even at work. The meaning of entertainment can be different for different individuals because some people might prefer watching content for entertainment. Some might prefer doing some activities for their entertainment so there can be multiple options falling into this category called entertainment. I fall in the category where watching something on mobile or the television is entertainment for me but gaming is also one of the sources of entertainment for me. This is also added with fun elements and not much entertainment if I talk about the game.

After covid pandemic lockdown things have changed for me and I have made some changes in my entertainment expenses. Before the pandemic, I had a satellite TV connection which is called DTH and I needed to pay a monthly bill to continue the subscription. It was quite expensive because there was a minimum fee and then I also needed to pay for some channels which I used to prefer watching. I ended the month by paying a good amount of money to the company that was providing me with DTH services. Also, I used to visit the theatre for movies one to two times a month and this was another expensive part.

Now things have changed because I did it intentionally and you can call it an idea that I did with my entertainment expenses. I have shifted from DTH to IPTV and this is quite affordable for me now I'm able to save a lot of money through this one subscription.

I have subscribed to IPTV at home which offers me 200 channels. Now good thing is that I get this as part of the broadband bill. I mean to say I have an Internet connection at home that offers me TV channels and some OTT subscriptions all inclusive in one charge. I opted for a higher-speed plan because it provides a good experience at home. Now I need not pay for a DTH subscription and I just need to make the payment for my WiFi it offers me TV channels including some OTT services which are quite popular and my entertainment requirement gets fulfilled by this.

Now I just pay one bill which is about 900 INR in a month for everything including the Internet and earlier I was paying about 700 INR for Internet and approx 600 INR for television. I was also spending a lot of money on movies which is reduced now. It's fun watching movies at home because I can watch at my convenience and most of the movies are available on OTT platforms just after a few weeks post-release. The entire family can spend some time together while watching tv and it's so much fun.

I can watch the content whenever I want and it is fun and also quite convenient for me. It's even better because I'm able to save a lot of money on this expense whereas I just need to pay one bill and the rest is taken care of by my broadband provider. I believe that saving money is important and sometimes one change can make a nice impact and in this case this change was good. While I'm able to save money it is also good that I can enjoy high-quality content at home without any additional cost and this is what makes me happy and this idea of change is inexpensive.
