Festival Shopping Season is around the corner

Hello and Namaste Everyone,

We are in the second week of October and it is the festive season in India that includes multiple festivals. These are- Navratri, Dasahara, Karwahcauth, and Diwali which is the biggest one. This is the time when people do a lot of shopping from the market and now since more of the shopping happens through the online shopping portals we can see the ongoing sales on these websites. Websites like Amazon and Fliparts are already ready and they have started their sales season. They offer better prices this season and continue to run the sale through multiple rounds until Diwali. It is not always guaranteed that we are going to get better prices in the sale time but in most cases, we get better prices provided we check it thoroughly.

It is not that whatever price is mentioned on these online websites is correct because these companies manipulate the market. They do not always follow the fair practise so if you are not checking it properly then maybe the case is that you end up paying more money which is a loss-making buy for you. I do buy some stuff this time but before that, I try to check the prices in the outside market and purchase only if I think it is a better deal for me.

Festival season is all about having a good time with our family and friends. People buy different clothes electronic gadgets and mobile phones etc this time because they think that the sale time is better for them to get such stuff at discounted price. This is right and even many of my friends are buying gadgets like mobile phones and television through these sales happening on Amazon and Flipkart.

Both are popular websites in India when it comes to online shopping but it does not mean that these are the only sites in the country. There are so many websites in the country and people do shop through them but because these are the biggest ones they get a bigger share of the market even during the festive season.

I have not decided what I will be buying but I have a list of some items so the prices are good maybe some of them I can buy in the next few weeks but for sure before the Diwali Festival. What are your plans this festive season?

Thank you so much
