Accumulating Voucher tokens in Splinterlands

In cryptocurrency market it is difficult to predict which coin is going to give exciting returns. There have been multiple instances in the past when any coin was available at a very low price and all of a sudden things started changing that resulted in multi-fold price appreciation for the same but many of us missed the opportunity because we did not invest at the right time. it happens to most of us and I'm sure we can relate to it because it is quite common in this market. this can also trigger a situation like FOMO where people are worried that they are missing a great opportunity and that is why they also landed in the train at the wrong spot when the price was already high. I believe we should avoid this kind of investment out of FOMO and this is why it is always recommended to invest when people are not doing it.

Splinterlands has got multiple assets that are available at low prices and can be a good investment. One of the tokens that I can talk about in this post is the voucher token which was introduced almost two years back when the Chaos Legion was announced. It is not a surprise that this token was more than 22 hive at some point in time but now the value is very low. I still believe that this token has the potential to grow big if it gets a good use case.

Voucher token price

Here I am sharing the chart for voucher token and you can see that the price trend has been in decline mode for a long time. even the current price is less than five cents with a total volume of less than $500. If we see at the all-time high price for this token then I can say that the current price is a golden opportunity for us to buy and this is the reason why I am trying to accumulate more vouchers this time. I have purchased some vouchers in fast few months which are still lying in my hive engine wallet. I even earn some vouchers for my SPS holding that are lying idle in my game account so there are two places in which I hold this token.

The current price already seems to be at the bottom and I don't think it has got a bigger scope for the price drop. I have also seen that the price is slightly stable in this range for the last few months so maybe I can say that it has raised its bottom so the only possibility for this token is to go up provided there is something good change in the game. A good use case is required for the token to spike again.

Voucher Holding

I have been holding the voucher token in the game account as well as in the exchange wallet as shown in the below snapshot and it is because I believe in this token which can be much more valuable in the future. As I already mentioned that I have purchased over 200 tokens in the last few months because I think the current price is low and maybe it can turn out to be a great profitable opportunity for me. I'm not sure about the future but one thing is confirmed if there is a good change in the game that requires more voucher tokens to be used then the value will start growing for sure.

I hold 438 tokens in total as of now and this count is going to grow a lot because I am planning to buy more in the coming days. This token is surely struggling with the use case and even if we can see sub-promotional sales coming in then also the price will increase because there will be the demand for vouchers to avail discount on buying. The last promotion event was not successful because there were so many cards that were not purchased and for that reason, the tokens were not used in a bigger quantity. I expect that in this quarter the team should be coming up with some interesting promotional cards which will create the demand for more vouchers to be availed for discount purposes. Although there is no such announcement and all I share here is based on the speculation.

Strategy

I'm planning to buy another bunch of voucher tokens in the market so this way I'll be able to add a few more 100 tokens in the balance that you can see in the above snapshot. earlier I did convert some vouchers into SPS but now since the price is low hence I do not want to do it if this value grows then I will prefer to convert against sps. this might happen I believe but this time when the price is low then I can ahead with buying and try to make the most of this low-price buying opportunity.

There are three tokens in the game including SPS DEC and vouchers and every token has got a different use case in the game. this time since we are in the bear market so I'm sure this must have affected the overall gaming value and this is the reason why probably we can see vouchers available at a low price. Demand is another reason why the token value is less so if there is a better use case in the game then it is going to increase the demand which will result in a price increase. I expect that in the last quarter, there must be some good announcements by the team which can be in the form of a promotional event or a promotional card that might include something coming from the lands side as well.
