The Knowledge For Wealth They Don't Teach You In School

Hello everyone, my name is Chidiebele Chukwuma and today we will be looking into the ways to becoming wealthy and successful.

I have finished my higher education and already acquired my certificate with good grades but there is a knowledge I discovered. Did you know that going to school and being educated is not a sign that you will end up becoming rich in life and have a comfortable living?

When I was in school, I always try to use my leisure time to study more on the ways to becoming wealthy and independent in life, because as I grow older I discovered that becoming educated is not a guarantee that you'll end up becoming rich later in life.
And why would one spend years of studies in school to graduate and not become wealthy from their knowledge in school?

So, I later Started carrying out research in many different ways including psychologically and the following down bellow are my findings.

Please note, STUDENTS A in this article will represent the group of students that have the mindset of getting a job after school while STUDENTS B will represent the group of students that wants to create jobs after school.

My Observation:

Firstly, I figured out that many people within the school system have already developed the mindset of working with an already established firm (Marketing or industry etc). I also noticed there are a few who have the strong mindset of owning their own establishments once they graduate.

Secondly, After a careful study (observation) backed up with persistent search for better understanding which took more than 3 years, I came to the conclusion from my discoveries, that the majority of the students that fall within the group of STUDENTS A who have the mindset of ending up as future employees work so hard by any means possible to gain the best grades and recommendations in school while few among the students that fall within the group of STUDENTS B who wants to become future employers fight for the best grades and recommendations.

Thirdly, it was to my greatest surprise when I figured out that the majority of students who fall within the group of STUDENTS B who wants to become future employers and independent already have their hands on a skill which they’ve already started taking care of in form of a business.

It's is also important to know that while STUDENTS A is busy trying to make good grades by devoting majority of their time to studying their books alone, STUDENTS B will spend some time reading then spend the rest their time working with the skill they've acquired and trying to become the best in it.

My Shocking Discovery:

During my final year in school as a 500 level student, I started making enquiries concerning the students whom I've once lived with and some whom I know in school when I was in second year in the university who graduated before me.
I figured out that some among these set of people fell within the group of STUDENTS A who had worked so hard for good grades but didn't develop themselves on any skill.

Some end up not getting their desired jobs, some got better paying jobs than they expected while some got a low paying job which made some to choose between becoming taxi drivers and learning a skill that fetches them immediate money to take care of their basic needs and fend for their families who now look up to them as a graduate to carry them along because of the family status and a few went to learn a trade while the rest still have nothing doing but with high hopes of getting a job.

I later met with five different people at different time interval who had graduated from my department, then they were my senior colleagues. And these set of people falls in within the group of STUDENTS B who were studying and at the same time developing themselves on a certain skill and I was really surprised to see how good they look and the joy that radiates through their expression as we discuss of finally doing what they've planned and being successful.

I figured out these set of people worry not about availability of jobs or the economic situations in the country, they are okay and a few among this set of people I met talks about furthering their education to expand their business.
i thought to myself why wouldn't they be fulfilled and look nourished when they can already afford good food with less worries about finding a job? and why not think of furthering their education when the money is now available. Also two among this five set of people have gotten married already.

I came to the understanding that school is not a place to teach you how to make money but a place to make you rich in knowledge of other things (laws, words, figures and sometimes principles you may never get the chance to apply in a life time) which skillful intellectuals who had been in the field observed and had taken note of (writing down) having had a first hand experience in the field of practice in their time of life and some that are still alive.

This procedures, fact and figures and laws work till today when applied and those who discovered them, the their names forever lived on and it's because they had to activately work on their skill which led to discoveries. Most students of today discover very little thing that is new due to less practice and more reading

In Conclusion:

There is an urgent need and importance of acquiring a skill or two or even engaging in the practical aspect of your course of study the more and trying to be the best in it, because no employer will want to accept someone who has nothing to offer practically.

Who is to become more wealthy and living more comfortable? The one who plans well and creates a perfectly working environment that generates income consistently and keeps expanding in its branches in different locations or one out of many employees that have no side hustle?

I believe that nothing is wrong in acquiring a valuable skill or two which has the potential of keeping food on your table, atleast 3 times a day with no external support. A skill of such can be utilized and developed further to cater for more needs in the future. It is very important to study and get educated but in as much as we study, let not forget the uncertainty in life. What you have acquired is yours for life but what you don't have or looking forward to acquire is another different thing.

So be skillful and keep pursuing your dreams, no skillful person worries much about getting fired in any job or the economic situations except he has not established himself firmly. I believe that together we will all succeed to make this world a more before place.
