Is the World of Cryptocurrencies Headed in the Right Direction?

Cryptocurrencies and the technologies they are built on are a touchy subject in some communities. Depending on age, experience, wisdom, intelligence and various other different factors, probably, different people have different opinions and or outlooks on the topic. Some are fully for cryptocurrency but don't really know why, some are in it for the gains, a select few believe that it will play a big role in our future. And then there's obviously those that are against it completely.

While all those people exist, it seems they have less and less impact on the steady and stable growth the crypto community is experiencing. There used to be a time when the slightest amounts of FUD would cause mass panic and outrage, or even, dare I say, a complete crash. But now it seems that the FUD only creates dips and bumps. At least, that's the way it seems to me. Feel free to let me know what you think is happening.

Major news like the FTX thing for example are not impacting the market like they used to. Neither are tweets of prominent people, which used to cause massive storms in the crypto universe. Well, maybe there haven't been that many tweets, plus at least one of those guys is not with us anymore, but you get the picture.

The communities and markets are slowly, but surely growing, and solidifying in something people can trust. Blockchains are being developed, evaluated, re-evaluated, rebuilt, tweaked, forked, every iteration better than the last. Solutions are slowly being implemented and adapted into the real world. And that's great!

What should you do with this information though? No idea, that's up to you. These observations do give me a reaffirmed confidence in cryptocurrencies. Something which I've been questioning recently. The world of blockchain technology seemed to be going in a direction where people only see it as a means to make money. And don't get me wrong, at this point, things could still heavily go that route, but now there is more hope, again.

We don't even have to look far for hope in the technology, as I write this in the new LeoFinance user interface, a wonderful example of steady and stable growth throughout the past years.

All in all, we still have a ways to go, as you've heard before, but it seems we're going, or at least are pointed, in the right direction.

What's your perspective?
