What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Stronger, Except Extra Speed in Reverse Ruleset !

Hello everyone, welcome back to Ramadhanight's Hive Blog on Splinterlands Weekly Battle Mage Secrets Challenge's Session. For this week Battle Challenge, there is what doesn't kill you ruleset, which give all attacked monster with enrage ability that gives 1.5x damage and speed. What makes it more interesting is that there is reverse speed ruleset which will give negative impact if the speed goes up, let's see how this battlemage secret challenge goes for my team!

Battle of The Week

Here is my formation for the battle :

What Doesn't Kill You : All monster have enrage ability
Are You Not Entertained : One extra gladiators are allowed !
Reverse Speed : Lowest speed monster attack first and having evade chance
Splinter available : All except fire and dragon splinter are available
53 mana cap : High mana cap for many strategy

My Lineup's Explanation :

2nd Monster2nd.jpgFly, Bloodlustsub tanker with high health and armor, and low speed, plus bloodlust to give him chance become deadly killer
3rd Monster3rd.jpgLife leechGreat magic damage, and could bulk some hp with the leech. Started with low hp but is protected by tanker taunt.
4th Monster4th.jpgSneakMost deadly hitter with reverse speed ? It's probably the sandworm ! Ready to sneak enemies backline

End of 1st round, both team losing the taunter. It's 5-5 situation.

End of 2nd round, both team stand still with all monster on each place, but enemies team is hurt a lot

End of 3rd round, my enemies lose his tanker, while my team stand still. It's 5 vs 4 situation for my team

end of 4th round, enemies lose his archer, while my team lose the halving alchemist. 4 vs 3 situation for my team.

end of 5th round, my enemies lose the gladiator and left with 2 deadly killer. 4 vs 2 situation for my team.

Discuss What Doesn't Kill You :

What Should We Get :
Since it affected speed and physcal damage, better to have high damage melee, and in normal rules, high speed monster could be untouchable, but on reverse speed, always go with the low speed monster !

What Should We Avoid:
Range monster is not getting advantage of being at front cause normally they can't attack, except if they got the close range. But for me, prefer having more melee monster or magic on this ruleset

What would i do next ?
Well, if there is no reverse speed, high speed monster will be interesting to get the speed maxed out with the rage

Conclussion

What doesn't kill you will make your monster stronger and faster. Melee monster will have full advantage of it, but always keep attention about other ruleset, such as reverse speed which will cause the speed buff having negative impact to the team.
