Reached milestone of 21000 HP.
I am expecting to reach this milestone in the month of August organically but my little inactivity pushed this milestone to the current month of September. I am actually happy to reach this milestone as all of these are my small steps and stepping stones for my bigger goal that I plan to hit in the coming years. Achieving and celebrating these goals always reminds me to keep myself on track for my monthly and yearly goals. Luckily, till now I am on track to the milestone goals that I created for myself at the start of the year 2022.
With each HP increase, it increases my staked rewards and curation rewards, and since my goals are fixed on the absolute number of HP addition in each year, it effectively bring down my external effort required to add HP to my account.
At the current scenario, low price of Hive hurts but I have sold my CHAOS packs so that I can get a good amount of Hive selling them. I am hoping to buy back CHAOS packs in the future earning some Hive in this process. If I am not able to buy back them, then this Hive will be powered up make me closer to my goal.
At the current stage, all Play2Earn income took a severe hit and I am now focussing on "passive" aspects of earning in the Play2earns game. I do not feel grinding more in Play2earn gives more returns or in other words is worth the time.
I am not in any kind of ranking race of my HP stake, instead I am chasing a very fix number for my end state goal for the HP but I still check rankings on Hive Buzz and below is the screenshot from Hive Buzz.
My current ranking is 665 and I think if I keep increasing my stake, I will definitely reach in 625-650 bracket before the end of this year.
I am constantly monitoring the prices on Hive-Engine for Hive Second layer tokens and frankly speaking, I am much disappointed. Tokens are not only tanking and in some cases, there are no takers even for that low price. This shows that most of the projects in Hive-Engine are either directionless or fail to deliver as promised.
So I will take a leave now and hope that my 22K and 23K milestones come soon and come in this year but a lot depends upon my Hive activity and my luck in Hive Engine.

Like in everything that is connected with crypto, P2E games aren't spared of poor results... I agree with you that playing more will not bring you more at these moments, and the only thing that could help is to buy some cheap assets... But, that's even more risky than buying some risky crypto tokens...
This is actually test of patience and judgement. What we pick and drop in this cycle will make our fate in bull cycle.
Congratulations on 21k HP and I am sure you will reach 22k soon enough. Just keep being consistent. I do agree that most of the Hive Engine projects are not that appealing and especially so when compared to HBD 20% interest.
