My Publish0x July Stats: Actually not bad at all.

July has been a very interesting month for me as I have completed many milestones in the month of July. It was first time that I crossed 10K views on Publish0x, I also crossed 300 followers in Publish0x in the month of the July along with my other Hive milestone of crossing 19K HP and as well as 20K HP. So when I see my stats for the last 30 days that I captured on August 1, then these are not for the entire month of July as July has 31 days but still, they are for the month of July.

So I completed the month of July with 8465 views, looks kind of disappointing to go downhill from 10K views but I cannot complain about this to Publish0x because I slacked at the month's end and broke my consistency and it finally become evident on the stats.
When I compare these views with some of the successful authors in Publish0x, I guess this might be around 1/10 of it. Another thing I observed is that top authors have better Earnings ratios corresponding to their views. For me, it comes to around 55 cents earning per 1000 views but for top authors, I guess this goes close to 90 cents per 1000 views for them (maybe not but I am sure they have a better earning ratio ).

For the month of August, my plan is to be consistent and able to pick few topics outside the Hive domain so that they can get better views in Publish0x though my motivation for doing it from a monetary perspective is very limited.

I also observed that more views also help in gaining more followers and better earnings but it requires both consistency and little diversity. Only evergreen topics in which you can keep repeatedly write without boring anyone I guess are Bitcoin and ETH and I hardly have written on these topics as much (apart from BTC Ordinals NFT this year).

Defi space also looks interesting but I keeping myself away from it as I feel hacks in Defi outweigh the benefits and risks associated with it and I am currently not exploring it and maintaining my Defi position in Tribaldex (Hive Second layer) diesel pools.

Let see how the month of August unfolds and what new comes in Play2Earn space, that is one of my favorite area to write and spend time.
