Should cheating be considered a mistake?

▶️ Watch on 3Speak

This video is about cheating/infidelity in relationships. Should it be considered a mistake or a deliberate action? My opinion is expressed on this matter.

I've heard this somewhere. This is true talk. Nothing like cheating by mistake, but deliberate infidelity. Something called a quick fling.

We are all adults, and it is impossible for an adult to say he made a mistake by cheating on his partner. Every action is well thought of before execution. Nothing more.

And after execution, it goes on as planned. Or not as planned when caught. Cheating is cheating. No take backs.

Bro, I agree with all you said. But I believe in forgiveness. Even if cheating isn't a mistake, forgiveness isn't bad either.

Not me. I can't take back a cheating partner. It's a bye bye for me.

Everyone will receive their own portion of a cheating partner whether we like it or not. Everyone has the tendency to cheat. Even something as simple as chatting with another person of the opposite gender can be hurting to one's spouse. It all depends on an individual's definition of cheating.

Yes, we all can chat. But doesn't mean we should. Once clear boundaries are stated, it's better for each partner to remain faithful to it.

Cheating is bad. Cheating is not a mistake either. People only apologize when they are caught in the act. If not caught, they'd call it being smart.

That's something I'd always say. Cheating is very deliberate. Apologies don't mean you're actually sorry. Apologies only come when caught in the act.

Cheating is an intentional act and not a mistake. If I should ask, what can someone to cheat?

That it is considered a "mistake", it is. But that it is also a very human action, well, that is absolutely undeniable. That does not That it is considered a "mistake", it is. But that it is also a very human action, well, that is absolutely undeniable. That does not mean that it should be justified or exculpated. Perhaps it should be much more studied, understood and debated. Interesting topic you have raised. I extend my congratulations to you, my friend, @quincykristoffer
