MCGI MASS INDOCTRINATION SERVICE DAY 1 ON THE 25TH MARCH, 2024

Glory to God almighty for yet another opportunity to be part of the MCGI MASS INDOCTRINATION SERVICE that commenced today being the 25th day of March 2024 and I was also blessed by the teachings of our beloved brother Eli Soriano who taught us on the first doctrine every true believer should adhere onto

From the book of GALATIANS 1:13 we understand that after a person must have given his life to Christ and repented from his sins he must first be baptised with water which washes away all sins and makes us new creatures in Christ no matter how grievous our sins may be even Paul who was formerly known as Saul was a persecutor of the Christians immediately he turned away from his sins and accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior he was baptised that's to show us how important baptism is to every believer ACTS 22:16 It is a commandment from God and it should be obeyed without hesitation or contemplating whether or whether not to because that's the only way we can be part of the body of Christ

Also from ACTS 2:14,36,46 Peter after being filled with the Holy Spirit minister to the people and admonished them to be baptised in the name of Jesus the Christ that will ploth out their sins and give them the gift of the Holy Spirit that will dwell in them and this Gospel was for everyone both to the Jews and to the Gentiles EPHESIANS 3:6

And after we must have been baptised it is important that we belong to the true Church of God so Christ can rule over us From COLOSSIANS 1:18 it was made clear that Christ is the head of the church so he is the one that instituted the church in the first place he made to be a place where the saints will gather and commune with him if we have received him being the Christ we must also receive his word and the church he is heading you cannot say you have accepted him but reject the church it's not possible
Anyone that has accepted Jesus must accept everything that concerns him including his word and the Church JOHN 12:48

We should also know from 3 JOHN 1:10-11 that in the world today there are lots of antiChrist that tries to discourage people from going to church some will say that church or righteousness is in the heart so no need for the gathering of the brethren that's the lie from the devil we should not be deceived by their lies

There are lots of places in the bible that the church of God was mentioned to show how important it is for us to belong to a true church including ACTS 20:28 EPHESIANS 3:10-11

Even the scripture used husband and wife to emphasise his love for the church EPHESIANS 5:25

**LESSON I LEARNT**

√ We must be seen as people who obey the commandments of God and be true follower of Christ who also lived an obedient life onto the Father JOHN 2:49 he only spoke what the Father had instructed him to speak and whatever he did was under the instructions of God so as a child of God we should also live a life of obedience to his words and instructions

√ I also learnt that when we don't obey and follow God's word it means we are children of the devil who is the father of all disobedience JOHN 8:44

So if we must be true children of God we must abide to all good works of God and live a life that bring glory to his Name
