HEARING BUT NOT LISTENING TO THE WORD OF GOD PART 1

In our world today we realised there are alot of people who are hearing to the word of God but they are not listening
They are not listening in the sense that they just hear without allowing the word to go into them and change them both in character and words the hear but because they were not listening so nothing changed in them they return back to what they used to do before and remain unchanged
Brother Eli Soriano in his teaching revealed one of the reasons why men hear but not listening to the word of God
And one of the reason is seen in the book of Psalm 115: 5-8
Because the serve a gods made by ordinary human hand Satan which I the father of evil blinded their eyes
From receiving the word of God those creatures made my the hand of man cannot walk or talk or even hear so those that serve them are just like them because you're just exactly like whatever you follow
Anytime a man begins to serve an image made by man they automatically become like the thing they serve because they are serving something that doesn't not hear or listen their own ear will also be close from listening to the word of God they are hearing the word but the word does not have any impact or improve anything in them
Also, the day we stop serving God we automatically switch to serving the Satan and Satan will close their ears so the will not listen to the word of God and be transformed though it as seen in 2 Corinthians 4: 4 The gods of this world has blind their mind from receiving the word so the glorious light of the word will not shine on them
They go about doubting the word, their ear is there where the word of God is preached but their mind is far away to the affairs of life so the word is just hitting the ear but not going through the mind.

Some people tried to bring God down in form of a golden images the book of Acts 17:29 said God being the Godhead can not be represented in a form of an image made by man with a good or silver or even stone and God cannot be moulded in any such that act is idolatry so we should be very careful of trying to put or bring God down into things a man can make with ordinary hand

So let us be careful and not allow the devil or even give him any opportunity of blinding or blocking our mind and ear from seeing and receiving the word of Godso it won't hinder us from enjoy the blessings the Lord had promised us through the light of the word of God

IN CONCLUSION
Let us not be found I idolatry that can blind or close our ears from listening to the word of God but let us be followers of the true Christ observing amd obeying his word and instructions
