UNTIL WHEN DO WE HAVE TO ENDURE THIS INFLATION??

The last statement I heard from him before the presidential election 🗳️ took place two months ago was that, everything will be made better than before and we will try to set a lot of projects and plans in motion for the betterment of our people, this was what i heard days before the election and now I am starting to doubt if he meant what he said or all what he had said was just to push us forward 😂…

Nigerian leaders and their schemes, to be honest, I didn’t willingly go out to hear that news, I listened to that statement by mistake because I am less concerned about all the activities in the political world, I care less about what they have to say because everything they end up saying before being elected goes up in flames after they get elected, it is not something new any more…

Would it sound crazy and stupid if I were to say I know little about what is going on in this country?, the only thing I am actually concerned about in this country is what relates to my survival and that of my loved ones…

It's just been two months since we elected a new leader and things have gone terribly good 😂‼️, I am sure you all know what I meant by the word terribly good, a lot of things have happened just in the space of two months, is this the sign of the so-called better days? even with all that is going on right now, we all still believe everything will be okay and better soon but before then, what would be left of us then if we can’t even survive this current predicament we are in…

In just two months, the price of PMS has skyrocketed like a space rocket, about 2-3 weeks ago we had an issue with the supply of tomatoe fruits and spices( tomatoes and peppers) cost of transportation has inflated badly, and prices of goods/foodstuffs are not trying to reduce, is this what we call better days? Oh lol, this is a joke…

After some weeks of no fruits ( tomatoes) in the market, we were forced to prepare our meals with just spices, even on Eid-fitr, we had no tomatoes to prepare our food with until we eventually recovered from that and it became common again, we thought everything was going to get better, only for us to see something else increasing, the cost price of PMS has increased dramatically…

Even during the issue of NO CASH, the price of petrol has never gone beyond #500 but now the price of a liter of petroleum is #670, how are we supposed to survive this crazy inflation…

There is inflation in the price of petroleum and still yet some people are complaining of light 💡 issues, right now only the rich men are putting on their generators and some of them have even reduced the number of hours they put it on just because of this skyrocketed price of petrol…

We the commoners can’t even buy enough petrol to last us for 4 hours just because of its cost right now, we have been given a cross to carry and that is what we have been carrying for a while now…

I was in the city chatting with a couple of friends @nkemakonam89 @merit.ahama @glorydee @iskawrites @b0s @treasuree @princessbusayo @george-dee and the others and then they talked about the current rate of 1$ to naira, nkem said it was #800 plus last week when she traded and now it is #850 plus, I was happily sad, hive was the reason for my happiness while the inflation was the reason for my sadness…

I just don’t understand when things will be put back in order, because if this should keep on going, a lot of us will be much more affected than this…

In summary, thanks to the new system, our meal plan has changed, not only meal plan but also the type of meal for each day lol…

In conclusion, my prayer is that no matter how hard or difficult it gets, let me, my friends, my families, and my loved ones not be affected by anything in Jesus' name, peace ☮️🙏…
