Road to Champion in Rocket League! 2v2 Gameplay and Rocket Pass Updates!

Hello, gamers. I hope you are doing well.

If I knew after 1200 hours of playing I would still be around the top 40% in ranked 2v2, I would be disappointed, with any game. But this one is a bit different. Sure, progressing and achieving higher ranks and leagues is satisfying but watching yourself take that one shot for the first time and seeing the progress in terms of ball control and mechanics is a rewarding aspect.

Rocket League has been my go-to game of 2023, I have not been far from it for more than a few days at most. I play it fairly regularly now as two of my other friends play it too and it is fun to play in 3v3 tournaments too. But those 3v3 games are less serious for me as the failure of the match gets divided on all three but 2v2 has that perfect balance where it doesn't feel like the entire arena is empty and not too crowded at the same time. Passing play is greatly rewarded and a demolition is such a big weapon too.

I have been in the Diamond League for some time now and feels like I will get out of it and move to champion before the end of this year. Here is some gameplay video I recorded the last night. (sorry for the bad quality)

It was a tough session as always but the start was not as bad as I usually do. I think I won the first couple of games, or at least the first game and felt good about this session but it didn't last long before I started making stupid mistakes and lost a couple of games in a row. Well, there is always a teammate to blame and in one of the games, I had a really bad mate.

Diamond is so competitive, I started at Diamond II Division III and remained in the same division after more than an hour of playing. This time, at least I scored some cool shots and ended with a win.

Rocket Pass Update and new drops

Rocket League's season 12 started on September 6 and will end on Dec 6th, 2023. So about 16 days left and I completed my season rewards for this season.

I am doing good in the rocket pass and cross level 194. I can easily cross 200 in this season. I need to get 200 more credits to buy the next Rocket League pass. Hopefully, I can get them from selling some of the stuff.

Rocket League made one of the worst decisions to disallow item trading from the next season. This is such a BS decision and last time I checked the whole community was pissed at Epic Games and rightly so. How can you remove the player trading in a game like this where some have hoarded expensive items just because they could get back their real money by selling them back again. Sometimes, I don't understand these gaming strategies. I hope they will take back this horrible decision.

Pro Gamer Tips:

• You played well, but your teammate sucks!
• You didn't lose, server was laggy!
• Only if you had a better monitor and graphics card!
• Your little brother was playing the match!
• They were smurfs!
• You didn't sleep for two days straight!
• And the most important one: They were Hacking!
