Placement games for Rocket League's new Season! Major Update: Trading removed by Epic!

Hello, gamers. I hope you are doing well.

We have a brand new season of Rocket League and no one is excited for this new season because Epic might have just killed the game by removing player to player trading of in-game items. There are already major content creators announcing their retirement from the game while some were giving away their items collected painstakingly over the years. Disabling trading means you cannot just trade the items between accounts and many players are left holding valuable items, some of whom bought those items with real money just because they knew they can trade it and get back the value, but not anymore!

All my RL friends are also mad over this horrible decision of Epic, but it is what it is. I have been playing it on and off for more than 5 years now and trading was always a big part of the game.

I finished the last season very close to getting to Champion in 2v2. My peak was Diamond III Div IV and I was almost champion and had to win one more but lost a few in a row and never managed to reach Champ I. I was very close and I can guarantee you that I will reach Champs this season.

One has to play 10 placement matches before they are put into their new leagues at the start of a fresh season. So, my objective for this session was to play 10 games and win most of them so I don't get placed too far down in Diamond league. Starting a new season in RL is never easy. I recorded this session so you can see the new UI changes and matches that I played.

It was a very successful gaming session for me and I think I just lost 2 out of 10 games that I played which is one of my best placements matches record. The start of the session was not that good as I was just using the new car body and switching to a different car is not easy to play with.

This time we are getting two new car bodies but I quickly switched back to Fennec and I played a lot better afterwards.

Bought the Rocket Pass

I had 1360 Credits and needed only 1000 to buy the Rocket Pass for this season and I bought it instantly. You get XP boost, a lot of reward items (which you can't trade now, of course) and your credits back if you play a lot (which I do). So, it was a no brainer for me to buy this season's rocket pass as well.

As I said earlier, we are getting two new car bodies for this season: Ace and Primo! I like the Primo better but will have to drive it to know if it is any good. I used Ace for a few minutes and I didn't like it at all. Primo looks better though!

And I love the new cables rocket boost and trails. This fits perfectly to the theme of this season, 'Rewind to the Turn of the Century'. There are so many items from the 90s and 2000s era.

I opened a couple of drops, one rare and the other uncommon. I got them by completing some challenges. The rare one gave me a cool boost, 'Power-Shot'. An import level item from just a rare drop is not bad.

Here is my career record for Rocket League, closing on 7000 matches! I got a healthy win percentage of over 52% and over 12500 career goals! Averaging almost 2 goals per game is not bad at all, considering I don't play duels (1v1).

Pro Gamer Tips:

• You played well, but your teammate sucks!
• You didn't lose, the server was laggy!
• Only if you had a better monitor and graphics card!
• Your little brother was playing the match!
• They were smurfs!
• You didn't sleep for two days straight!
• And the most important one: They were Hacking!
