Colosseum of Fools is a unique challenge in Hollow Knight that can be as challenging as some of the boss fights if not more. I discovered it on my exploration journey to Kingdom's Edge. You can read more about that from this post of mine.

There are three levels or trails each with increasing difficulty. I completed the first 'Trail of the Warrior' with not much difficulty but the second one, 'Trail of the Conqueror' gave me a difficult time. I tried a lot of times but I couldn't get past that big hopper.

I couldn't get past it and left the Colosseum to go and find more mask shards so I have more max health to start with or perhaps a new spell or movement ability.

I dropped down from the Elevator Shaft that took me to the King's Station. Keep in mind that I changed my charm build for looting and exploring as I had a 'fragile greed' charm still intact.

It seems like bugs here drop a lot of Geos when die. No wonder they were all rich living in this posh area. I had a simple key obtained from defeating the 'Pale Lurker'. And there was a locked door and I had to check it out. Well, I wanted to use this simple key in the Tower of Love but I guess there are more keys to be obtained yet.

There was a signpost indicating a hot spring nearby and a picture of Songstress Marissa.

And a big elevator takes you up to the "Pleasure House". But before that, there were some more rooms on either side of the elevator. One of them had a spirit of 'Poggy Thorax'. "A big, fat, juicy, oily...scrumptious bug."

Poor guy was waiting for a long time for his dinner to arrive. These spirits still think they are alive even though you can see their dead carcass on the floor. I had to put it out of its misery with my DreamNail.

The Pleasure House had a hot spring and a resting bench on the upper storey which also connects to the big elevator shaft. While on the lower level, you will hear a bug singing, it is Marissa. The one we saw the portrait of earlier.

I loved her song and it didn't feel good to dream nail her. Am I an evil person for doing that? I could have just left her there... not my proudest dream nail for sure...lol

Anyway, I moved on to the Ancient Basin. There is a big vertical section which takes you deep underground.

Next to the tram, there is a hole which leads you deeper into the ancient ruins. I wanted to go back to the fountain and drop more Geos there to see how much more I needed and what was going to be my reward.

This time it worked, something triggered and a vessel fragment appeared in front of the statue. I just needed 1 more fragment to get more space to store souls and this was it.

I got lucky this time and had enough Geos to get this rare fragment. It was time for me to check the Palace Grounds and see if something changed.

I still couldn't do much in this area so I went further east and rested on the bench planning my next move.

Maybee.. But it won't be the first time, you know. Once upon a time, there was a perfect pet, waiting for his cookie... Just joking. After seeing you continuesly playing this game I started too. It looks really fun to play. You probably won't believe it but just to play I shortened my nails 🙃

Not just for this but also for theHunter. There is a gentleman, I call him my cute nerd, he gifted me this game even though I said not to. But he is sweet and all.

excellent game, I'm just playing it again and I think it's amazing all the exploration stuff, I can recommend Dead Cells as well.

Also, I can recommend you to keep participating in the hive marketing campaign, there are some interesting rewards there and there are still new tasks to do
