My 1st HPUD in 2024 - Hive Power UP Day
Happy New Year everyone, hope everyone have a great holiday, time to do #HPUD again This is my 1st HPUD in 2024 or my 12th HPUD in Hive :
This is the picture before I did the HPUD in 2023 :
Hive Power Up Day (HPUD) special events held to introduce the Hive ecosystem to other people through our blog at Hive community or we can also provide information about this via social media. The purpose is to make many people join Hive, involved in many activities there. With more people joining increasing the value of the Hive token
With this HPUD event we also do Staking/Power UP/Saving Hive, this shortens the supply of Hive circulating making it more valuable and increasing the price.
Several methods to get Hive token besides buying them in hive Engine :
- By creating a blog on the Hive ecosystem such as Ecency or peakd if we get upvotes/likes we can earn some money.
- Take part in various contests on Hive, such as making poetry, memes, singing, posting photos according to certain themes, posting about drinking beer, posting some good game strategies, etc.
- Earn income from playing games in the Hive ecosystem such as Splinterlands, dcrops.
- We can also save/stake/power up certain tokens in Hive and earn interest just like we save our money in the real world.

For this HPUD I just swapped my SPS as usual. I get my SPS from my Splinterlands scholar to Hive and powered it up using Hive keychain.
This is my achievement so far in Hive ecosystem :
Just some slow progress after all I'm not a very good writer so only limited topic I can make. Will keep learning hope this year good more good result. My goal for this year
- Do HPUD every month.
- Keep making a blog in Hive, following more contests to give Hive and other 2nd layer tokens more recognition like Leo for example.
