Wealth, Health, and Time .:. WorkerBee PH-Pool Week 156
Recently, I was watching a video by one world-famous crypto investor where he was talking about his "early days"... Where he was born, what he was studying, what was his first job, and how he got there where is he now (his net worth is around $45 million)... As of today's inflation numbers, we are having more and more billionaires, so being a millionaire isn't any more "so special"...
In that interview, he was talking about wealth and how it means different to different people... For some, wealth is having a lot of money, for others is to be healthy in older age, for some is having a lot of time... So, the term itself is very subjective, but the "outside" narrative is very often focusing on the "MONEY" perspective, and calculating the wealth through the balance sheet...

You can't get rich by accident (except lottery winners, but they also did something to get there... they bought a ticket 😃), but you can have a different mindset about how you will get there, what are your priorities, etc. In his personal story, he was moving countries in search of a better quality of life, not in search of more money... Instead of trying to get MORE MONEY, he was trying to find a better quality of life, by spending LESS money... In some way, he was saving (preserving) the value of his money rather than chasing "more" money...
Of course, the hardest thing is to get that first million... 😃 Also, it's important to acknowledge where are we at the moment and what we are doing... Reflect on our behavior... Do we chase the money for ANY cost on one side, and on the other side, we are spending it on some stupid and unnecessary things?
I have created a couple of posts on similar topics where I shared my experience with "chasing money" and how it went for me... Unfortunately, we are humans with "basic needs" with very predicted behavior...
If we don't have enough money, we put the money in the first place and try to earn as much as possible... As we work 12 hours per day to get the money, we lose our health and get sick... Then we try to recover and spend earned money on doctors and decide to put health first place, but with money and health on top, we notice that we don't have TIME for other things... and we are running in circles trying to find the balance that we can't reach as all the time we are just REACTING on the current situation, while we should PLAN BEFORE acting... and be PROACTIVE...
Am I wealthy? Moneywise, not that much... But, on the other side, I'm healthy, I'm working for myself, can take vacations when I want, and can travel and see other places when I want (if not abroad, then in my surroundings 😃)... So, I would say that I am wealthy and grateful... How about you?

As always, in the end, let's give the exact numbers for this week... There will be distributed 124 BEE tokens and 120 SPS tokens as a bonus... The APR (without the bonus) was 9.453%, and when we added the bonus it went up to 11.250%!
I have calculated the ROI approximately with medium prices for all tokens at the moment of creating this post... So, those numbers are valid if you bought WB and sold BEE tokens at the middle HiveEngine price...

The earliest part is definitely the hardest. Trying to get assets or revenue sources is the best thing to do. After that, it tends to compound and grow over time.

When we have health, very often we take it for granted and push our bodies to the limits... As we get older, we start to appreciate our health more and more... Hoping that it is not too late to do that...
I will definitely try and join this pool. It is a fact that as we know that a person becomes a great investor only by working hard.
Wealth is determined by everyone differently. I'll use a mixed drink as example except health and money are the substance. Human nature tends to make stronger drinks with money. Of course going through life, certain situations, or later in life the power of the drink changes. Both money and health have an impact on our time.
Wealth to me is obtaining a balance of being comfortable financially and being healthy. It's no fun being a slave to the dollar while it can lead to bad health. It's not always the easiest to find the best solutions but I think sacrifices have to be made to obtain. Maybe example here is Poker, you got to know when to hold them and know when to fold them, haha.

Don't know why, but in these moments, it always comes to my mind that corny saying... "Everything in its time"... It is corny, but it is true... I suppose that our definition of wealth changes with the years...
Covering our basic needs everything else can be lived without it. We are rich without being aware. It's okay to remember it from time to time. 😊

Yes! We are educated to perpetuate the cheating system and it is hard to be the black sheep that lives slower and needs less. Actually everyone wants to be in your place but they don't dare to break their chains. 😉

I am from that part of the world where people don't know how to earn online from crypto. There is no such institutes here. If some one knows then these the don't share it with people.
You are not an exception and in many parts of the world, we can see that image... I have failed so many times to onboard my friends on HIVE, but we are the only ones who can change that image... We are those who have to preach the benefits of blockchain tech and crypto!

There is also the wealth of knowledge that some put above anything and everything else. I think it's better when there is a balance and different types of wealth coexist for the same person. Having lots of money when you are old doesn't do you much good if you have serious health issues. Maybe it helps in getting better treatment if it exists.
It's always all about the balance... I try to stick to that and balance out my life, goals, priorities... It's not an easy task, but it's much better than going to extremes and risking all the rest...
Somehow, I had around me a lot of friends who were extremely good in certain things, but they were almost always burned out because of that... I suppose that's the price of being a "super-genius" in something...
I noticed that you try to balance things out. And that's fantastic! I need to find a better balance between various aspects of life myself.
