The Ant and the Grasshopper .:. WorkerBee PH-Pool Week 127

Do you know about the fable The Ant and the Grasshopper? I suppose that there is no person that didn't hear about this story, but not many got it right, or live by the moral lessons from the fable...

I had an interesting encounter with an old friend and the situation reminded me about this fable immediately... I suppose that many of you had something similar in your life as people interested in crypto have a "different mindset" than others... Or it's just my imagination... 😃

Somehow, all these bull and bear runs are teaching us to save crypto, to CHOOSE the right moment to buy some asset and the moment to sell it and take profits... But, there is always a WAITING aspect, or better said, SAVINGS aspect in it...

Another important aspect is a long-term vision, PLANNING the future steps, creating goals, executing plans in a specific time, etc... That's exactly the same as what the ANT did in the fable... He was working hard and saving food for "bad days", and when he didn't have what to eat, he used those "stacked" food to survive harsh times...

While, at the same time when Ant was working hard, the Grasshopper was partying 24/7, enjoying the best days of his life... But, when the bad days came, he was begging for help as he didn't think about tomorrow...

As I said at the beginning, I had a similar experience today... I don't mind if someone lives as Grasshopper, but I dislike when I see those people depreciating the Ant's work! Grasshoppers think that everything that Ant was saving has fallen from the sky... Especially in the moments when all those unnecessary things that Grasshoppers bought have no value as you can't "eat" them... Latest models of cars, mobile phones, expensive clothes, etc...

When bad days come, in the eyes of Grasshoppers, Ant is a scrouge, full of money, with great life... While the reality is completely different... Ant was SACRIFICING his time and money to be prepared for hard times... But, that's not visible for Grasshoppers... They see the chassis of the car and not the engine... Only the surface, without scratching it to see the original color, the real face, the reality...

I will leave it to you to find the connection with HIVE, or maybe even with this WORKERBEE pool... 😃

Back to the exact report numbers!

If you were following the comment section on these reports, I mentioned a week (or two) ago that I was checking WORKERBEE transactions and noticed some people unstaking tokens... That usually means that those tokens will hit the market and that we will have some lower prices for WB tokens... Exactly that happened and I expect to see the selling pressure in the next few weeks too... So, if you want more WB tokens, you should pay attention to the market and try to catch some good offers...

We are not in the FUD zone (yet), but one of our delegators has left us, but some other experienced users have used this situation and grabbed cheap-cheap WORKERBEE tokens! Good for them! We got some new delegations from existing users, so despite undelegation, we are almost at the same place as last week! Thanks for your trust!

In the last 7 days, we mined 127 BEE tokens in total!!!

This POOL doesn't have fees and you get up to 20% MORE by delegating to it!

What about the bonus tokens?
It's time to give away one of my tokens! 😃 You probably know that I'm the co-owner of the Liotes project where we have two main tokens, LENM (Liotes Energy Mills, a miner tokens) and LEN (Liotes Energy, token that is mined by staked LENM)... These tokens work in a similar way as WORKERBEE and BEE tokens, but we have an additional use case for them... If you pair these tokens and add liquidity to the LEN:LENM diesel pool, you can earn additional rewards... Feel free to poke around and ask questions... If you want to sell received tokens, you can do it on the regular H-E market, or through the diesel pool (a better option at the moment)...

There will be distributed 2.5 LENM tokens to the delegators of the pool as a bonus reward today!

WorkerbeePHPool03.png

As always, in the end, let's give the exact numbers for this week... There will be distributed 127 BEE tokens and 2.5 LENM tokens as a bonus... The APR (without the bonus) was 7.581%, and when we added the bonus it went up to 9.180%!

I have calculated the ROI approximately with medium prices for all tokens at the moment of creating this post... So, those numbers are valid if you bought WB and sold BEE tokens at the middle HiveEngine price...

Do you want to sponsor the PH-Pool with your tokens, receive a short SPONSORED segment in this post, and raise awareness about your front-end or dApp? Please let me know in the comment section, or contact me through Discord or Twitter and we will find the best solution for both parties...

pg divider203.png

If you want to join the WorkerBee PH-Pool, the only thing that you have to do is to STAKE tokens to YOUR account and DELEGATE your staked WORKERBEE tokens to THIS account (@ph1102)! Every week you will get the portion of mined BEE tokens and BONUS rewards!

All payments will be made after publishing this post...

Very successful fable.
In my opinion, bonus tokens are a good incentive. It's a good incentive to keep people interested and invested in the pool. And the fact that the pool is commission-free and you can get up to 20% more by delegating to it is a big plus.
I think it's a great initiative that promotes a sense of community and shared success.

It will always be this way, I suppose. Ants are different... they have focus and just keep going, regardless of the opinions of others. Ignore the noise and remain committed! 😎

Hehehehe... Maybe the "real deal" is somewhere in the middle? Keep the focus, work hard, and sometimes relax and dance while grasshoppers are playing... :)

Everyone can do it at their own pace... Every bit counts if you are building in consistently...

The way mangoes are seeing that there are many such learnings that people get and it's a very good thing then they research about it and also put money on them and more like their demand. If it happens, they also get a lot of good profits in the coming time. When people are coming here and telling all the things to the people here, then they also want to invest money in such a good project.

There is a point of view where the Grasshopper approach has sense, but I'm more in favor of working hard, being prepared, and using every opportunity that comes...

I've never actually heard this fable, but I'm actually in the midst of this story haha

My band is playing Rebellion Festival in three weeks, which is a big punk festival in Blackpool, which takes place every year.

We have accomidation, but I've been asking the lads if we can book passage, just so it's sorted and don't have to worry about it.

Everyone is up for getting our ferry tickets, and has money put aside for the weekend and all, apart from the singer, who has saved nothing in the last 8 months, now it's looking like we'll all have to pool some money to give a lend. I feel like the ant now.

I mean, saving even 10 Euros a week would have given him 320 for spends at least, but nope. It should be fine though, and it'll be a good weekend regardless.

I actually picked up 4 workerbee that I've been meaning to delegate. I'll get it sorted tomorrow and see if I can bag a few more.

That's a good example of Ant and grasshopper regarding crypto.

I think I don't have enough bee token in my wallet, either I don't know how to get that token??

You need WORKERBEE tokens, to stake them, and if you want, to delegate to this pool to receive rewards... Or you can just stake to yourself, and "solo" mine BEE tokens with them... The only way to acquire WORKERBEE tokens is to buy them from the markets...

It's an interesting story and I agree that the people who are consistent tend to get out ahead.

Thanks for running the pool and for the BEE/LENM tokens.

It's interesting that many morals of the stories are the same... consistency is the key...

We learnt the story as between an ant and a cicada :) My interpretation is that the more we stake HIVE and HP today, the more we will have the benefits of them in the future ;)

Yes, I'm familiar with the fable The Ant and the Grasshopper. It's a classic story that teaches us the importance of hard work and planning for the future.

I think it's great that you're able to see the parallels between the fable and the world of crypto. It's true that those who are willing to work hard and save their money will be better prepared for the inevitable bear markets.

I also agree that it's frustrating when people who don't understand the value of hard work and saving try to depreciate the accomplishments of those who do. It's important to remember that there is no such thing as a free lunch. Everything that is worth having takes hard work and sacrifice.

That is something that hurts the most... I can understand that someone CAN live like that, I mean like a Grasshopper in the story... But, it hurts when those people depreciate the hard work of others...

Thanks for the heads up on WORKERBEE. I've put in a small buy order to see if I can catch anything. Wish I had more liquid SWAP.HIVE at this time.

You are welcome... Who knows what is the "real price" of the WORKERBEE tokens... Maybe this 1.4-1.6 HIVE is still too much? That's the beauty of crypto... You never know where is the bottom, but also, you never know where is the peak... 😃
