News Updates! .:. dCity Investment Progress & Project Liotes

I have skipped this report last week as I had some other urgent post to publish, but this week I couldn't do the same as we have some updates about the game!

3 months after the last update for the @dcitygame we got 2 updates in only one week!!! Something is cooking and it looks that we are closer and closer to the 3rd edition cards...

In the first update, which was released 5 days ago, you could read about the new building, but also about the new combined building and how they work... Actually, combined cards should give more use-cases for specific building (and technologies) that weren't used too much before... When you combine more cards, you will get one card with boosted characteristics, but also, in certain cases additional special perks...

The second update was more focused on war profits distribution and 2 new combined buildings... So, in general, there is a news and that's very positive, especially after the long silence...

At the very beginning, I would like to clarify few things... dCity is a kind of investment game, which implies that you have to invest money (crypto, or however you want to call it) that you can play it... And that means that you can win, but you can also lose your investment... So, NEVER, but NEVER invest more than you can afford to lose... I have invested an amount that I can afford to lose, and I'm fine with that...

Regarding my personal progress, there are no that many things to write about... After my initial deposit in my city, I'm doing every day re-investing of profits... As taxes are over 70% for a couple of days, there is no that much money to play with... So, I'm focused on optimizing the city... Replacing some buildings with other ones that are more productive, but also, buying cards that are "on discount"...

I find the card that has the best investment-profit ratio, buy it, and then buy another card to balance out (if there is a need for balancing)... If I have too many people on social support, I put population cards on the market, and reduce it... As I'm far from the next person that gets more HIVE income from the population, I don't lose anything by doing that... And I don't try to sell cards (for real), just removing them from my stats... So, accumulating them in the background...

Oh, I didn't write about the SIM token price... Well, there is nothing special to write about as it is almost at the same price as it was 2 weeks ago (that big red candle on the graph)... This news helped a bit with stabilizing the price, but it is still very shaky...

You are making nice progress on Dcity. Even though I don't play it, I appreciate seeing your progress in the different games. I have been doing well with Rising Star lately so I have been very pleased. I have been accumulating a nice amount of SIM, though, which always is a nice one to add to my portfolio diversification. :)

Good luck & keep kicking butt. I will wait (im)patiently for the updates!! he he 🙌💚🔥

I haven't even been looking at the SIM price, because I've just been buying more cards with the income. Good to see that the price is stabilizing though.

Well, the pegged Hive price of SIM may be down, but the USD income has been corrected a bit by the Hive HBD ratio, so it's all good for those who want to sell I think.

Me neither, I will start selling a bit when the price is pegged again and Hive is around maybe 50 cents. Just in time for you new (game) project probably.

My theory is that if STEEM could reach $2 at some point during the last bull market, HIVE should be able to do at least that. Eventually. Probably not soon.

I think that we all are waiting for 3rd edition cards... I don't have an illusion that the game would become super-profitable, but it would be nice to see relatively stable token value... It's easier to calculate potential profits...

I may be going from one extreme to another. I'm now engaging too much (not as much as you!) and find little time for gaming. But I need to check the opportunities that show up on dCity more often.
