When Altcoin Season?
I have recorded this video 2 days ago and after that Bitcoin had a "moderate" dump... lol... But, that doesn't change anything, as it is normal to value goes up and down... And the question from title is almost always actual... :) As you are reading these lines on Hive or LBRY, you probably have some skin in altcoins, so maybe you will find the idea from the video interesting...
In the beginning, you should understand what is an altcoin? In a nutshell, it is every cryptocurrency that it is not Bitcoin...
I have tried to explain in the video the "theory" when can we expect the "altcoin season" to begin, looking into the past and events that have happened in the last cycle... I have messed up a bit in the video, but I hope that you will understand the idea... If not, you have comments for questions... :)
Also, I have added in this description #MyHiveGoals update for the last 3-4 days... I had a nice pump in staked Hive as I have powered up my Hive from Steem conversion... All other numbers are going up as planned... Slowly, but steady... Just as I like... :)

I believe that you are quite right with your anaysis. When the all time heigh is reached by bitcoin, the seasoned investors tend to go into altcoins. Let's see when we get to these 20'000 btc/usd ;-)
tbh, I was a bit stupid in that 2017... lol... Didn't recognized the ATH, and I didn't go out from BTC, and later, swap altcoins... Let's see how smart will I be the next time... (if it comes... lol)
In hindsight it's always easier ;-). I sold a lot of btc when they were at 12'000 and then it went up to 20'000. I was too early :-). Trading stresses me too much, so I tend to only push about 10% of my tokens around. The rest stays in BTC or Hive.
12K wasn't a bad call... It didn't stay too long at 20K... It was a couple of days at 17K, so I count that as ATH :)
btw, I have a funny story about the ATH... I had a friend that has been ignoring all my calls (and still does) to join crypto from the time BEFORE that.. (BTC around 1k, etc...)
And he decided to buy some BTC, and I have sold him some... at 17K 🤣
It is still a "running joke" when I chat with him... lol
When newspapers start to speak about BTC, people who have no clue about it will start to buy (like your friend). My daddy once told me that when that happens, it's high time to sell your asset....

It is always like that... when everyone is selling, you should buy, and when everyone is buying, it's time to sell :)
Very interesting video. The crypto world never ceases to amaze me. The LTC & BAT keeps me intrigued as well as TEZOs (other than HIVE of course).

Hmmm... When others call BTC dead (50 times per year... lol), the LTC is already in coffin 6 feet under... lol... But, somehow it comes back always... I like LTC as it has lower fees, but I can't see anything else in it... I have some but don't have any opinion about it...
And BAT is killing at these moments... How high can it go, I have no idea... :) We will see...

LTC, for me, is good for buying HIVE, tbh lol. And yes, it definitely mirrors what BTC does quite a bit. Hopefully, when BTC eventually hits the moon, so will LTC :)
BAT is definitely something I am invested in. With Brave Browser & tips, these are an amazing combination - just like HIVE.

Bitcoin and altcoins price are positively correlated. We see altcoins price rises when the bitcoin price increases. Now all coins prices fall. Hope soon it will rise again. :)
This is the case when BTC price is falling down, altcoins follow, but it wasn't the case whole time 2-3 years ago...
Also, there are coins that do very well last few months... ;)
Yes, that's right. We even saw HIVE going very high when other coins prices remained the same.
