LEO&HODL Contest -Threads and Measure to control engagement(MY Wen-Soon Show Topic)🎙️

I really wished I could definitely say more or perhaps get the avenue to get picked for one of the Leo TV sections; that would have been a perfect opportunity to share my view about measures to control engagement on threads.

Microblogging might have taken the community to the next stage entirely, especially when it comes to increasing productivity in the community, but even at that, I sincerely have some reviews and different opinions about certain things.

With the Leo&hodl contest, getting to share my opinion and view about threads is pretty easy and hope this got discussed on the Wen-Soon show too one day

These are some opinions I have about threads in the community, and I honestly think that could be looked into, especially when it comes to talks on Wen-Soon show.

(1) What a thread should be: I guess no one is thinking about this, but for a while I have been thinking about what a thread should look like, especially during the Zealy contest. I have seen users with just two words replying to threads in the community. I honestly hope that a thread should not be less than 100 words; that will definitely end spamming in the community. I also honestly hope that the community sets it so that any thread that's less than 100 words should not get indexed for such users.

(2) Special upvote for Threadstorm: Threadstorm for me is definitely the longform of threads. I honestly believe the best way to get users more active even after the contest is to look at reviewing the upvote procedure for Threadstorm. This individual who is finding it hard to write long content will definitely have to enjoy it more via Threadstorm.

What do you think about the current schedule and flow of Leo TV?

I might not have been familiar with Leo TV before, but kudos to the Zealy contest for bringing all this alive in the community. For me, I will definitely say the current schedule of Leo TV is fair when it comes to time and day too. It has indeed been fixed well; funny enough, for me, I will say it has indeed been the best time, because on most occasions the program always starts after I have gotten home from work.

Why should Lions interact with LEO TV or watch the video every week?

Asking questions during the program might have been an introduction that has indeed made it more awesome, but getting some users onboard to share their opinions will really be better; this will definitely keep others on their toes to do well in the community.

I might not have seen the program before now, but with what I have seen recently, I can vividly say that the program comes with a lot of information that will definitely help users grow better in the community. Aside from getting to read long content posts in the community, attending the Leo TV program will definitely help one understand and keep you informed about interesting updates coming in the community.

How can LEO TV go viral and reach more people outside of the Hive ecosystem?

More sensitization needs to be done, and just as the #hodlcommunity is raising awareness about it presently, the community too should come up with an advertising technique on Leofinance and outside the community too.

Notifying people outside the community before the due date will definitely help improve participation and also bring more individuals to the community. Telling people on Web2 about it will definitely help increase participation during the show.

What benefits have you gotten from LEO TV?

There is a lot to talk about; joining Leo TV recently has indeed been a perfect decision thanks to the Zealy Quest too, which has indeed moved attention to an interesting show like that. Unlike before, I did rely on getting information from long content posts, but now with the Leo TV show, my understanding of things has increased, which includes

(1) Getting upcoming updates from the community

(2) More understanding of the community

(3) Getting informed about future plans for the community and its users

(5) Information about more updates coming on threads

(6) Plans for making microblogging more interesting and accessible

(7) How to make better earnings from the community

(8) Understanding more about other projects in the community

This show has indeed improved a lot of individuals understanding in the community; it's not just about the contest anymore, but the level of information passed across on a weekly basis has helped my understanding of cryptocurrency and what needs to be done to monetize your activities here in the community.

More focus should definitely go to Thread, especially when it comes to putting in place enough measures to control activities and not give room for abuse in the future. I honestly believe that there are many contests to come, so putting in place Thread before those periods will definitely be awesome.

This is my entry for this week's #leocontest, here by inviting @houseofdavid, @kolawole93, and @pt.hker2010 to be part of this awesome initiative.
