Increment in Everything

The increase in the price of commodities within the last eight months has shown that the current administration is not doing things right. For the past eight months after the current administration took over office we have experience a rapid increase in the prices of things.

First is the removal of subsidy. Subsidy is a way that the government influence in the market inorder to ease the price of a particular commodity for the citizens. Then the pump price of PMS triggered 100.8% instantly.

Second is the dollar to naira exchange rate, that has also increased by 120%. The dollar to naira in the black market used to be NGN550 to 1 Dollar but now it is NGN1,500 to a dollar.

The prices of food stuff has also increase, house rent has increased, transportation has increased, clothing has increased, even water has increased and many more. The only thing that has not increased is salary.
